SVB to Kick Off High Run Attempts

Can the first post be edited to include a well organized list of all the runs? Its difficult to follow along to see how he's doing, both here and on the FB page. Thanks.

The problem is that the "drama" is being perpetrated by the promoter. Not as a marketing gimmick but instead likely from a deep sense of jealousy.

I don't think that your concept is wrong - would have been great to have something like that as a plan.
Oh, I realize that personal issues are at play here though I only know what I read on here. But whatever the reasoning for initially leaving John out, I just think they could take advantage of it as a strategy.

He scratched right after taking a break. Wonder if that had anything to do with it.

At least he can say he never missed a shot...

I had about ½ the money in my pocket bet on a guy one night (I was just a rail bird that night), they played a long race of 9B for $500 to $700 a side in the late 80’s was probably 10-12 guys betting on each side in Stockton Ca. When pool was a “pool” of money bet on each side plus what ever the 2 players were betting. There was no dump.

Anyways the guy I bet on Purse Snatcher his real name was Al, can’t recall his last name was way behind. I was sure I lost my money, somehow Snatch made a come back to hill/hill. He said “hill/hill my speciality”. I remember this like it was last week. He breaks and is running out from nowhere. This is B+ player pool, in action every night, but far from shortstops or pro’s.

Snatch gets perfect on the 9 after a brutal break and run, I can’t remember who he was playing but to everyone’s surprise he didn’t conceded the 9B which was 2” off the short rail 8” from the CB and 8” from the pocket. Impossible to miss. Snatch looked at him, he said “shoot”, it was a tap in.

“Ok I see, I get it” Snatch said as he was pissed off and he walked to the bathroom for 5 minutes or longer. He walked away to stall the guy, anyways I’m certain everyone who has read this has figured it out. Snatch gets back from the bathroom shoots the 9B and hangs it in a 4.75” shallow shelf Rebco table. It’s almost impossible to hang a ball like that.

Fatboy lost ½ his bankroll

Was 1-130 am so no more action there that night.

Moral of the story, shoot the important shot THEN go take a break. At least that night maybe in 14.1 it’s different. “Case game my specialty” my ass…..

The chronicles will continue

Best
Fatboy😀

Shane is raining 100s. Could this have been expected from the old guard like Rempe, Sigel, Mizerak, Varner, etc.? Does anyone who went through that time know? Or is it all speculation at this point? Like if we stuck Rempe on this table back in the day, would he be running all these 100s?
Yes 100% they would be printing 100’s

Can you share that 626 run with us so we can see JS pace of play ,

Shane seems to be done for the night. Ended with a 112 (and a scratch on the break).

john schmidt pool player arrives (not mr. 626, for now) and just calls the games as usual giving advice and predictions on the game at hand. some stories, whatever.

and then with him arguing with shane on facebook later about his choice of draw on the breakshot on rack 38, and john’s advice to young ruslan about his many mistakes that all novices make- it would be great for watching and learning.

it's funny how the least popular, least played and most arcane discipline of our sport generates such controversy. i'm just enjoying the show, watching shane run 150+ to the tunes of billie holiday..
Great post except for the Billie Holliday. Maybe it’s a generational thing, but when I need something laid back to keep me even keeled I listen to Melody Gardot, “my soul is weary,”:

What I am told he is doing is bad mouthing BC on any and every pool site he can find.

Which is fine and his right but it sure doesn't help his case if he wanted in to BC' event -- an invitational. Right about now I doubt Bobby would invite him to a garage sale.

Lou Figueroa
In all fairness when a guy (BC, and others involved with this operation such as yourself) have gone out of their way and clearly and publicly intimated that they feel you (JS) would lie and commit fraud of this nature and magnitude, and very well could have or even likely did lie and commit that level of fraud regarding his world record high run, you really expect that John is going to be all cordial after that and want to put BC on his Christmas card list? I mean come on let's get real here, you don't get to spit on somebody and then get upset about it when they yell at you.

Considering the accusations that have been hurled at him, John has been shockingly mellow in the way he has reacted in my opinion, far more mellow I suspect than you or I or most others would be if faced with a similar smear campaign on our character.

She was in a bad accident riding her bike when she was a teenager. That’s why she wears the sunglasses all the time, “some lessons we learn the hard way.”

Why is this jackass linking chick songs on a pool thread?

It’s all about the pace of play and finding the groove. I’m an excitable boy, but if I can simmer down and focus the rack will unfold.

Plus it’s a distraction from the pissing match. “My dick’s bigger than your dick, my dick’s bigger than yours!”

There are three Day 3 SVB videos today, and I copied them and did a software scan.

There was one chopped video where it started mid-rack. There was another scorekeeper error today.

(If today's scorekeeper can make errors I bet the ones 70 years ago did as well? Babe Cranfield didn't talk about that.).

A lighter pace today with 14% less balls sunk today compared to yesterday. I'm sure the end of that 308 must have hurt.

Yes 100% they would be printing 100’s
When I was a kid, the road players knew there wasn’t much big action in NYC....but you could go there to up your game.....there were a lot of players nobody had heard might run 200 on you for $5 a game.

He said it again today, and qualified saying that everyone has a right to their opinion. But for sure, he said his opinion is that Shane is the best American straight pool player. I don’t see Bobby denying that he said this.
Yes Freddie I 100% did say my opinion in the current is Shane is the best American player in all games including straight with the exception of 1 pocket. Im entitled to my opinion. Just to let you know Shane said he would play any American a race to 2000 points for big money and he offered that to someone about 4 years ago and the offer was declined.
