For all that would like to place a friendly bet on Earl in the Action Challenge, the line is Earl getting 7 to 5 on the money. Basically for each 50 bet on Earl wins you 70. I will also make a games line that Earl doesn't get to 90 if anyone wants that at even money. If for some reason Earl or Shane quit during the match, it is a win for the other person. Please post in this thread if you would like action and PM me also.

Ha!
I like that last addendum.
Wonder why that's thrown in?
Good action
Good rep to you

Thanks Joe. Honestly if the Earl "blow-up" wasn't always a factor I think this would be an even line, but apparently his attitude and stroke are in check right now judging by his play in Goldsboro.

This is a good line, probably about right. I'm tempted to bet on Earl. Just call it a hunch. I'll wait until the time gets a little closer thanks.

I have a feeling Earl might upset Shane too so I might take that action but I will also wait until it gets a little closer.

When is this match going to be again? I might want some action on this. I kind of want to take Shane but, with odds, I might have to give you a little action here.

November 15-17. See www.theactionreport.com

Given Earl's volitility I can't bring myself to bet on him. Given Earl's skill level I can't bring myself to bet against him.

If he can channel his energy into his game; the engergy that so often goes into his anger, he'll be very dangerous.... and I just have a feeling that his time has come... again.

My feelings exactly. Johnnyt

I think earl needs games on the wire for this one. Or much better odds. 30 on the wire or 4-1 on money. Maybe I underestimate earls game and overestimate shanes game, but I just dont see earl getting all the way playing even. But then again reality can be stranger than fiction.

Just out of curiosity, were you around in the 90's, during Earl's prime, to see him play? If Shane played the way he played today, and Earl played the way he played in, say, 1990'ish, you might GET odds betting on Shane. I like Shane in this match-up, but if anyone wants to give up 4-1, just point me to the betting line.

the 90's were in the last century. I have watched earls game and he has a lot of tricks up his sleave. Earl won major tournaments for 12 years straight, sometimes several in one year. Its not that I dont respect his game in the 90's, I just dont think he can make it in the 2000's against a machine like shane. We can rehash the past all we want, but the game is today. We've all seen what earl is capable of, but can he pull that out and keep pulling it out like he needs to beat shane. Remember the color of money matches. He had a huge lead then started losing it piece by piece. I dont feel that shane has to beat earl, its more than likely that earl will beat himself.

What is the website so I can watch the match online? & How much i should pay? Thanks AZERS :)

I think shane is going to take the win in this one too. Earl is just strange now a days, sure he still plays good, but i don't think good enough to hang with Shane and his break. By the way does anyone know if the first match is online anywhere?. or does anyone have it saved and want to upload it? I know you can buy the dvd of it for $75, but i'm on way too small of a budget for that.

I just received the match in the mail today. Noway in hell will I ever upload it to anywhere. Our fellow AZ'ers setup this match, filmed it, producted it, and put together an awesome package that is completely worth the $75 for how many hours of top play it offers. If you don't have the money currently, save it up, and then purchase it like a respectable human being and support a great service our friends are offering.

Are you offering 4 to 1, Shane over Earl? If you've changed your mind, what would you think a fair line would be?

Doc

Hey guys. Only one confirmed bet so far and a few that will wait. Everyone just let me know in this thread and by PM's if you want Earl. The line may change as it gets closer to the match depending on several factors. Those of you that don't know me, Jay and I have bet in the past and he will vouch for me. You will be paid within 24 hours of the match end by paypal or check by mail if you prefer. I will also create another thread as the match draws nearer.

Buy it if you wanna watch it.

TAP TAP... I hope that no one uploads the video. The fellas at the action report are working very hard to bring us a fine product. I plan to buy the DVD's in the near future but would pray that everyone that wants to watch the match, does it in the right way. BUY it and promote those that are trying to help our sport grow!

Good rep for DeadPoked!
