SVB withdraws from future WPA events

I'm 100% behind the players here! Continued similar actions/bans by the WPA will only lead to them further distancing themselves from the professional pool world. Someone might say they are shooting themselves in the foot - repeatedly! By forcing players to take sides only strengthens MR's postion in the Pro Pool world. But don't anyone tell them, okay.

I've notified my BCA league team about my decision to drop out for next session and to join other league. Also, I'd stop watching all pay viewing and related YouTube channels. I'm just an amateur and it may be insignificant but I've made up my mind until changes had made. It's funny that I rarely post in this forum but I feel compelled to do so this time, cheers!
WTF??????????????????? Who gives a rodent's behind about your league team??? You said you rarely post. Why now and why this??????

Maybe he can gather all of the students from The Harriman Academy and do a march. Think of the excitement that would generate. Problem solved.

Historical campaigns suggest the best approach is to mobilize as much as possible around the issue.

That means assessing when voters will retire, leave or pass away. In the USA RBG was asked to step down as a precautionary measure against court packing. Be ready for the opening when they arrive. I hear communist/socialist countries protect their votes differently.

Find out how voters are selected and replace
them or find their limits. Creating a billiard parade or march is easy just use decorators at the airport on luggage, patches are popular.

Doesn’t Qatar have more money than Matchroom?
Qatar the country doesn't own the organization. That's where its based. I'm sure they help fund it but it really doesn't make any difference seeing the MR has all the top players already signed up. All the $$ in the world doesn't mean shit when you don't have the top players. WPA is boxing off its back foot and is getting scared hence these chickenshit bans.

Yes, Qatar’s recent funding / ownership of the ACBS seems to have led to these recent bans. The Americans (BCA) apparently have been against them but don’t have the votes.

ACBS is just another part of the WPA. AFAIK BCA is 100% on-board with the WPA for whatever the reason. BCA hasn't been in the pro-pool biz for yrs so it really doesn't matter what they say. Just more stuffed shirts.

BCA has voted against the bans, and publicly said they were against them.

edit: I also personally emailed the BCA several months ago when the votes were coming up, and he stated to me he was completely against them and would be voting against bans.

So you and Dan won’t be marching?

So you and Dan won’t be marching?

Influencing WPA voting members takes more than marching.

Which federations support the ban and where can they find points of agreement for the future that do not cross red lines.

Asian players changing their governing laws is a dream that no one knows how long it will take to complete.

It is going to be a lifelong war for those votes.

I will be directing BARPA.
