SVB's Cues And Case Went To TX.

It doesn't even look like a cuetech. Surely, one of the local halls have them? Maybe not, with everything being internet order these days.

Someone told me years ago that a top player (I seem to remember it being Earl, but not sure) used to wander around to various local/regional tourneys without any cue, and "rent" one for $50 from some random player...and dominate the event.

While I'm sure Shane can adjust to anything and still play top drawer pool, he's competing against other world beaters, not run of the mill bangers, and I don't like his chances--this has got to be something unwelcome in his head game...

Thats my point...,

Bugs was the best Bank Pool Player ever and he never owned a cue! He just played with whatever he could borrow at the time...., But that aint normal and if that's not the way you function it can be a problem

I think Shane's borrowed cue has a 314 shaft on it. That's what it looked like to me from the ferrule closeup. Can't know for sure, though.

He has the cues now. I believe that they were delivered to him 10 hours after arriving in Newark. It may have been 10 hours after Shane arrived in Newark.

Sooo, I guess this is confirmation that SVB plays with a 'plane' jane.

He got it right before his match with Alex. Hope he get at least a free ticket out of the deal.

Good to hear he got his gear back...

I doubt it's the cost of a cue..it's what you get used to,
