Has anyone here gotten rid of their regular pool table and gotten a 3 cushion table? If so, did your buddies still come over and play?
I've had a nice Gold Crown IV in my home for a few years and probably use it 3 or 4 times per week...usually with the same shooting buddy. I have a local pool hall that I can play regular pool in and I also have a good friend with a nice 9 foot pool table. My game has plateaued at 55 years old and I am getting tired of playing at the same or slowly declining level. I enjoy playing 3C when I am in Denver and can usually run a 3 or a 4 once or twice a session. I don't know a lot of the shots since I play 3C so infrequently. I think there would be some easy upside to my game.
Finally, I would probably have to get a 9 ft. 3C table. The place that I play at in Denver has Korean 9 footers (I think the brand is Hollywood) that 95% of the players play on. If you had to get a 9 ft 3C table what would you get?
