Hey cosmo, good luck in your quest for a tip to fit your needs. It looks like you have some options.
I gotta admit, I think veganism is a bit odd and impractable. It was a part of the reason I clicked on this thread.
I am a big meat eater, and make no apologies for it. I agree with KC's post, but I do not understand why everyone just jumped all over this guy for looking for a tip to suit his needs.
If he would have started a thread " Vegan is the only right way of life" then I would be the first in line to respond. But "synthetic tip?" and btw it is because I choose to be a vegan, does not warrant an attack.
If I said I wanted to find a brown colored wrap, would I get attacked because black is clearly better? It is a personal preference. He did not even imply that it was a lifestyle for anyone else.
What if I was asking if anyone had a cue with a cross inlaid in the butt? Should everyone start checking to see if my lifestlye was good enough to own such a cue? I would only be looking for objective info, not making a case for one side or another. (maybe its for my grandma! )
Cosmo, great response about the jewish/pork thing. Kudos to you for at least attempting to actively live your beliefs. It is very easy to say " I believe in..... " it is much harder to live accordingly.
It is obvious that you love pool, and even mentioned the possibility of giving it up, if you could not find an alternitive that worked for you. I think that proves a comitment ( as well as many others you obviously do).
While we are on opposite ends of this issue, I respect that you do more than lip service to your position. Stay true to yourself.
I do know that this guy has put a lot more thought, effort, and sacrifice by living his choice, than I do when I order a cheeseburger!

You know what? My post shouldn't be here either. How hypocritical of me! Sorry:sorry:
