I have been on the hunt for this Barry Szamboti cue for some time now. After a couple year wait I was finally able to pry it out of it's previous owners hands. This cue has always been labeled as the "Tucker Cue" but really it isn't. The Tucker cue is in the Szamboti family collection. This is one of my favorites cues ever built! The execution of the cue is flawless and the color combination Barry used is stunning (especially in person). I have had this cue since the Midwest show and since it's a snow day around here, I finally have some time to share it.
Enjoy.

Troy, congrats. That's one of the greatest looking Szams imho. Stunning veneer colors that perfectly match the swirly figure in that abalone....awesome figure in the ebony, too. Man, I would love to have a time machine and go back several years and buy it for $500 more than Scott sold it for at the SBE. :)

Hope you guys dig out of the snow soon.

Troy, I guess it was worth the wait....LOL Happy you got it, its soooo HOT

There is nothing like a Szamboti - heritage, great craftsmanship and an incredible design.
This one really exceeds all expectations on traditional beauty.
So glad you were able to pick it up.

Enjoy and see you soon!

Szamboti's rock!!!

Congrats........Don't forget to chalk it once in a while. That's a timeless design and the cue really flows.

Congrats on another real nice addition to your monster collection. Hopefully it won't be long before I can start hitting balls again and come beat you with your own cue. I'll bring my hammer so you can get into that picture frame. It's only a matter of time.

Szamboti

Vinnie, I thing that is a Tucker cue. I use to own that cue and talked to Barry about it years ago. There are two cues he made for Tucker. Both have the same veneers. The cue containing ivory inlays is in the Szamboti collection as a friend of mine bought it and traded it to Barry for a new cue. Barry also indicated to me that the cue I owned was also made for Tucker and the veneers are unique and have only been used by Barry on the Tucker cues. If you haven't, you might want to check with Barry,
Mike

I can easily see why this cue is one of your favorites. The veneer color combination is perfect on this cue and I think this style cue is just perfect.
