Szamboti

Hey Myron,
That is a beautiful cue. I saw it being made from start to finish..
As you know I'm a big fan of 3/8x10 Szamboti's.
This will be one of the very special cues made by Barry for years to come.
I know it has a great home. You are one of the good guys in the pool world.
Always a pleasure speaking with you.
Take Care and congratulations again...
Best,
Ken Kerner

This cue has been on my mind since I unwrapped it from the bubble wrap the first day of the Super Billiards Expo at VF this year.
WholeCue-2.jpg
can see why it got stuck in your brain, myron! : )

in my view, they don't come any prettier than this classic!
great bunch of pics as well!

Another great cue

This is a wonderful example of Barry's work. The veneers are clean and the inlays tasteful. You may not have the biggest collection but it is the classiest, with all aquisitions well thought out. Congratulations!!!

A big thumbs up.........

I'm kinda of a butt fan and I must say, thats the nicest butt I've seen in a long time.

Overall consensos, the cue is absolutely fantastic, veneers, color, joint - whats not to love.

You are a lucky man to have been able to acquire such a masterpiece !!

Great pictures too, you really show off every detail of the cue. Every thing in the cue is shown to perfection - Good job Sir.

Thanks for sharing your new love

Definitely a beautiful cue!!!
Thank You!
Nice pictures. The cue is ok too.
I had a lot of fun taking these pictures and later editing them for viewing.
In all, I took 135 pictures for my library.
Nice cue looks a little like my mottey in some ways
great seeing you again this year .....lee
Lee - It was great seeing you as well as the US Open.
Will look you up at VF as well.
The Mottey you have is a gem.
Stunning! Enough said.
The cue is almost as stunning as the little lady in your avator.
She is a gem...
Thanks for the compliment on the cue.
IMO szamboti propellor cues are THE best cue made . period. no question asked.
to have it be one of 5 10 pins made makes it that much more special.
The cue is a beauty and for you having the chance to see the cues in progress is a rare treat.
Thank You!

Gorgeous cue my friend.
Great job on the pictures, too!!!
Between your cue pictures and Jeff's, I can say I was inspired to showcase a cue.
For this one, I took my time and had a lot of fun.
Wonder if Tikkler would want it for his collection?
Steve did see the cue at VF and I would have to say I am lucky he did not zero in on it.
Myron,
Beautiful cue...One of my favorite szamboti's.
Congrats.
I guess we are even - you have some cues in your collection I love as well.
Myron, you know I love that cue and I have to say I'm glad it ended up in your hands, congrats. Little Kenny is Szam man!

I am lucky that Kenny is a man of his word and allowed me a chance to pick it up.
Congrats on your pick up as well - I saw the cue early yesterday afternoon... The twins are BEAUTIFUL!
Myron
Congratulations on acquiring a wonderful cue.
All the best
Tom
Tom - understand you liked another Barry that was at VF this past year.

For you to see projects like this one from start to finish, is really special since the fine detail work is something to really behold.
I remember that you mentioned you are a huge fan of the 3/8x10 Szamboti cues - Will have to see your 3/8x10 Szamboti cues one day as well (when ready).
In my case, I just was lucky to have my knife with me when the both of you struggled with the tape that Barry put on the bubble wrap when he wrapped the cues...
Therefore I saw the cues as they came out of the plastic.
can see why it got stuck in your brain, myron! : )

I really appreciate the compliment on the pictures.
I have to honestly say that your gallery of cues on your old web page were inspiration, provided me ideas on presentation and the stones is a great idea (I tried to take the background out of focus on a few to put the viewers focus the cue).
Thanks again and looking forward to more images of your cues.

Great way to describe the cue.
My collection has just gone over the top with this piece!

I am a butt fan as well and love to show off exceptional details of a cue that the cue makers put into a cue.
This cue is fantastic and I am glad that everyone is enjoying the pictures.

Glad you enjoy this one.
As I said, my collection was going through some changes and this was the major change that was being discussed over 2 weeks ago.
It worked out that this cue came to my collection but some others are either gone or going.
Some minor adjustments to refine the beauties I will keep.
The Gambler that Ken has is out of the question - that one is staying with Ken for a long time - at least I got to see that cue for 3 days at VF this past year.
If you come to VF, some of the cues will be there on display.
