Szamboti's

Nice Gun!

I must admit I have a thing for Gus and Barry's cues! I have bought a few recently and thought I would post a picture of them all together.

I have a couple more coming in, so when those come I will pull them all out for some more pictures.

The cue on the far left is GSB #1, which as most of you probably know was started by Gus and finished by Barry. The next four are Barry's and the rest are his Dads cues.

The two tone shaft was made for the cue on the far right and according to Barry was the only one his Dad ever made, he called it the "Magic Wand".

I hope everyone enjoys them as much as I do! :D

What a impresive Collection you have. Thanks for sharing the Pics.
I like the two from left and the Propeller Cue.
Ralf

Sorry i wont enjoy them as much as you do because i dont own them.:p
Thats a nice collection of Szambotis!:D

Very beautiful collection.
I'll probably catch flak for saying this but I infinitely enjoy looking at your collection than looking at the ICCS collection pics (lack of traditional pointed cues)
Have you ever considered trying to arrange them chronologically?

You have a way of finding these highly desirable cues and managing to keep them in such great condition. Since the first time I saw your collection in the forum gallery and even now with the latest picture, your collection continues to both inspire and impress me. That is one very impressive line up of cues and I personally would love to know if at some point I can adopt another cue from you.

Just an awesome collection! I would love to see the cue or cues you bought when I picked up the cue that you allowed me to eventually adopt.

Good hunting and collecting,
Myron

The link has pictures of an impressive line up of Szamboti cues so now the question is who is the owner of the site?
Hint for all the other folks - the link from Panhdlce only shows about 6 cues. If you go to the home page on the same link (represented by the home symbol under the arrows), you will find about 80 Szamboti cues to view.

Panhdlce - very impressive link and greenies are coming your way.

I'm pretty sure those pictures were made for the Blue Book.
If any 1 person owns them all, he/she is my new idol.

Jeez . . . . no wonder I can't find a Gus cue. ;)

Beautiful group, marsman. Thanks for sharing.

Superb

What an impressive group of cues! I had never seen the maple/ebony shaft...wow! 9th from the left (merry widow by the red veneered cue) is my favorite. Thank you for sharing the pictures.

I haven't ever thought of trying to arrange them chronologically, but it would take someone like Barry to get it right.

Next time they are out I will give it my best shot and try and arrange them by age.

I also must admit that I would much rather have these cues than 99% of the cues at the ICCS. The non-traditional cues don't normally do much for me. That one picture of the Gus that has gold hearts and diamonds in the butt, I liked a lot though!!! That is the kind of cue that would make me go to the show in person next year.

That is one of my favorites also! That cue has four original shafts and the original box. I bought that cue from an AZ'r here on this forum.

Thanks for the compliments! Here are the pictures of the Balabushka's that I bought when I sold the Barry. The two on the right were the ones that I bought at Valley Forge last year.

The only reason that I sold that Barry was because I needed the cash for that transaction. To this day that is the only Szamboti that I have ever sold, but if I decide to sell another I will give you a chance at it.

The dark wood on the shaft looks more like brazilian rosewood....I'd like to know the $ value that sits on that table....:D

Wow. I'm just stunned by that collection.

You are a lucky man my friend!

Congrats on the most beautifull collection of 'Boti's I have ever seen!
