Have you been drinking?

My favorite cue also. When I sold the cue to you I was offered $3000 more for it the next day.
My Wife said I had lost $3000 on the sale, I said not true, that I got what I wanted for the cue.
Thanks for the pics and I know the Gus got a very good home. Thanks, Casey

I know for a fact this is a true story!!!

This tells a lot about how great a guy Casey is, he wouldn't go back on his word for $3,000! He is the kind of guy that I would want for a friend.

Take care!

I am taking pictures of my cues again, I have a few new additions so it is time to do another photo shoot!

nice collection

How the heck do you sleep at night???:D

I must admit I have a thing for Gus and Barry's cues! I have bought a few recently and thought I would post a picture of them all together.

I have a couple more coming in, so when those come I will pull them all out for some more pictures.

The cue on the far left is GSB #1, which as most of you probably know was started by Gus and finished by Barry. The next four are Barry's and the rest are his Dads cues.

The two tone shaft was made for the cue on the far right and according to Barry was the only one his Dad ever made, he called it the "Magic Wand".

I hope everyone enjoys them as much as I do! :D

Thanks for taking the time to share the pictures of your unbelievable collection of Szamboti cues. I would have to say you are a lucky man to own this many fine cues. Most of us would love to own just one.........

James

hey john!
remember that magic wand, along with the like new gus, and others you got from me were just on a short term lease!
time to be shippin' back!
but . . if you wanna keep'em . . . i'll take that silver jalopy in trade! :)

szamboti

Gentlemen,
I bought a szamboti from Rob Villera here on AZ and my question is should i have the cue refinished? it is straight as an arrow and plays a ton... Any input would be appreciated.

Richard

It's a personal decision, but I'd vote to leave it original. The cue will maintain better value that way as well.
