OTLB custom tac strips failed the first try but when I glued old cloth to them as a binder, priceless

look at how well my special OTLB glue worked, its NOT 3m glue either

trust me, it gets even tighter when you go back and forth! but my R+D GC is up close to the wall

I'd like to see picture of the underside. (table complete) Could a little chid get their hands in there? My daugter for some reason like to dig around under the rails. All I can think of is spikes!
Well maybe she wouldn't do it again after getting poked in the fingers!

you highlight a good point of which I have considered and tested. The area most likely for this to occur is the ball box location. If this is a concern of yours it can easily be covered over. She would more likely get a sliver that would hurt much worse. Stove tops and electrical outlets would be a concern of mine.

The real hazard of the tac strips is to the mech if they don't pay attention. You may notice in the video also that I did NOT use the pliers as they were desgined to pull against the backer board to simulate just having bare slate.

At the end of the day-I don't put them on all tables. Just the ones I will be doing over and over--ie GC's in clubs.

The first ever tac strip poolroom is coming soon!!!! just needing to perfect my rail system first. Boston here I come.

It used to be loud as an Elks Lodge in this place, now its quiet as a church. What happened?
