THE DIAMONDS DON'T LOOK TAD TO ME, BUT IT COULD HAVE BEEN MODIFIED. THE FOREARM LOOKS LIKE AN OLD MEUCCI OR HELMSTETTER, BUT THE RING LOOS TAD. IT'S CERTAINLY A COOL OLD CUE. GOOD LUCK ON THE MYSTERY TOUR.

100% positive that it is not a tad, wrong joint he only ever did piloted, butt cap is wrong too

I don't know what the cue is, but I do know Tad did make flat faced also, I have one.
Best,
Ken Kerner
I was thinking the same thing. I almost bought a plain jane with a 3/8x10 pin that was flat faced. Hell, I thought all the Harvey Martin style cues were flat faced. But I dont believe it to be a TAD nonetheless. Good luck on the quest for knowledge. I will eat my words if turns out to be one. Take care.

Kenny, is that a brass insert? I've never seen an old flat face Tad with an insert like that. I was thinking early, early Huebler or Helmstetter when I first saw this one. Good luck....let us know how this turns out. It's a unique looking old cue, for sure. Sean

TAD made flat face with 3/8x12 pin NO 3/8x10. His small pin is 5/16x18 thread. Good luck with the search Kenny.

And yes, the 5/16x18 pin is normally piloted. I'm leaning toward early Helmstetter also.

I would love an old Helmstetter!!

If you send picts to them and if it is please let me know what I can have it for.
Nick :)

Not a Huebler

pin is wrong for a Huebler Cue
also screw in the butt is not common for one of Pauls cues
