hey guys. im offering a tad style cue for sale. was made for a customer but money problems forces him to have to sell the cue. no biggie. very understandable. so i offer to you guys the cue and return his deposite.

no finish yet. no shaft yet. so there are some options. cue will have white with green spec linen wrap.

58'' butt now is 15.2 oz. cue should finish out in the 19.3-5 oz range depending on shaft weight.

this is a cue i finished for another customer. The only difference is the new cue has a fat ring in joint.

Of all the tribute cues, I think this butt cap taper is the closest to the real thing. IMO, there's so much to that shape alone, how the bumper just peeks out...LOL, Tad Kohara man. There have been many, many attempts here that haven't even decided to come close.

ty. sir. i actually took a long time shaping that butcap. i think tad uses a bumper that is a smaller dia then offerend today. maybe .750. i only have 1 inch. i didnt notice that until after i bored the groove.

however i do need some differences in the cues to not have any confusion.

i am prob gonna mess around with shaping another bumper to better fit the cue

the first few i made i didnt shape the buttcap as much as in the last pic

Looks cool. Can you do smooth black leather.

Smooth black leather... how cool would it look? Or the traditional white and green speck linen - I doubt you could go wrong with any of these. Nor with this cue.

A lot of cue and playability for the money. Martin and Tad had their very good reasons for making these cues.
 
thanks guys. ive had alot of inq about the cue. few offers (few lowballers but they dont count)

so first to get the $$$.

as i told a few i will take some now and some later. i agreed to return the original buyers deposit. no one can help hard times. so 200$ now and 200$ when completed is ok

yes ring is .060.

i can do leather but i dont have any smooth black. i was telling a few others that the last one i did ended up with a black leather wrap not by me and i did not like it at all. too dark next to the BEM
