Lee, I have been compiling stories from the road with Earl, Johnny, Nick, Buddy. Ihave about 30 stories right now and as I get the chance I write more down. Maybe when I have enough of them I can put a book together. I read through a few the other day and I had myself LMAO.

My favorite Earl moment was from the Mosconi cup (in London) a few yrs back. Earl and Johnny had just won a scotch doubles match and were getting interviewed. In the middle of the interview Earl says, "you want to see a grown man shit his pants? Let's play on a 5x10 table with 4inch pockets" the interviewer interrupted him and reminded him they were live on air. The look on Archer's face was priceless. You could tell he wanted to laugh.

There is DVD out with Earl telling stories including one about he and RALF on a road trip together in Russia in what sounded like way back late 80's-early 90's. I was real surprised he went that far back w Ralf and yet still pretty much gives the guy no respect. Diana Hoppe was selling the DVD's.

Another Earl Moment

A couple of years ago at Valley Forge I was at Mike Gulyassy's booth checking out some break cues. Earl comes up to Mike and they start talking. After their conversation I ask Earl "How you doing today?" He responds with a pissed off face, "How the hell does it look like I'm doing?" I say "I don't know" He quickly responded back "If you don't know you better ask somebody" and walked away. I just stood there trying to figure out what happened. I just shook my head and laughed.

There is the "No filter factor" also. We had just got done with an exhibition I think it was in Alabama. We were just sat around talking and a very attractive gal came and sat by Earl. She was hanging on his every word and soon his arm making it very clear that ifhe wanted things would work out good for him that night
After a while the same gal comes up to me with a strange look and kinda shaking her head. she says "WTF?? your friend has NO game" Puzzled I asked "What you mean?" She says "Do you know what he just said to me???" he said "If you stopped drinking Bud Light you would lose that beerbelly ofyours in just a couple of weeks" She looked at me and shook her head and left. BTW, I don't think she had a beer belly at all. But talk about no filter. LOL.
