We have a had lots of requests for embroidered polo shirts like the ones we wear at our events. We can not afford to inventory them in the myriad of sizes and colors people want so we are going let people pick the sizes and colors they want and make an order.

The available colors are Red / Black / White / Navy. The White shirt has a black logo embroidered. All others have white.

Available sizes are Small thru 5XL. Shirts are 35/65 Cotton/Poly blend.

Price is $35.00 shipped to the U.S. and Canada for sizes Small-2XL. 3XL and up cost $40.00.

We will take the orders until Sept. 8th and ship no later than Sept. 19th. It will probably be sooner, our embroidery provider is a great local shop who usually knocks it out in under a week. These are the same design that we wear at all of our events. I used to do embroidery digitizing and I am a complete embroidery quality nazi. These are good stuff.

You can find the Small thru XXL here: http://www.theactionreport.net/product.sc?categoryId=19&productId=55

The 3XL-5XL (Husky guys RULE!!!) are here: http://www.theactionreport.net/product.sc?categoryId=19&productId=56

Here is shot with a couple of the shirts. It was taken at Side Pockets after the second Action All Around. We will see you all from there next week for Bartram/Moore.

$40 for a 3XL????

Damn that's high. I would look for a different screenprinter.
Actually, thats about right on the money for larger sized Polo's of decent quality.

Its not screen printing it is embroidery. Great big difference.

Just for shits and giggles I will break it down for you:

3 XL Polo = $14.38
Logo Embroidery = $7
Pack and ship = $5

Total cost to us per unit= $26.38
Total profit per unit= $13.62

Now this does not include anything for the intial digitizing of the logo ($100) or the risk of having one or two shirts damaged in shipping/lost whatever that we would replace at our cost.

If you can find a provider to do the same quality shirts for a better price with no minimum order and in less than 7 days turnaround I would love to hear it and pass the savings along to the customers. Quite frankly if we cant make 10 or 12 bucks a shirt it is not really worth the time it takes. I figure we may sell 20 - 30 for a major score of a few hundred bucks.

cant forget shipping costs as well...
and for shits and giggles as well...i tried getting some red one's for my company logo on it, and it was going to cost almost 40 bucks just to have it done...no profit....same great quality...

I guess that makes sense...

How many would you have to order to get the costs down?

I have a buddy that owns a screen printing business but not sure about what embroidery costs. I would be happy to call him for you and see what they would charge for similar shirts

Good price for a nice polo shirt. Payment just sent for a black one. Thanks,
Joe

Thats the problem. We do not want to have an inventory of these. It would cost us at least a $1000 for an order with any significant break and we just can't tie up a bunch of money in inventory.

This way people can choose from more colors and we don't have a bunch of money sitting in a box somewhere.

One of the problems with finding an embroidery provider is that the quality of the stitching varies wildly. I used to work in that industry as a side job so I am very picky when it comes to quality and am willing to stick with a known quality product over trying to cut costs constantly. Basically I am lazy :D

Thank you for your offer but I will stick with these guys as they have always done a great job.
