Hey Everyone, would someone be able to kindly point me in the direction where I can watch some of the old TAR matches? specifically TAR 21 & 22, I cant seem to find any of them on youtube. Are they posted anywhere online? I know they were streamed live when the matches were played.

cheers,
Randall

Would be nice if they had more of the older TAR matches in stock, I know I would buy em...

they could burn you a CD of any of the previous matches, just send them a note. They are all on DISK and can be burned for you.;)

Wow thanks....that's good to know I didnt know that I ll send them an e mail then.

hehe.. well, you may want to consider that marks comment may not be true. He doesn't work for TAR so him saying that all you have to do is drop TAR a note and request any DVD you want, may not be entirely accurate:)

Personally, I have never seen TAR publicly state that to the public, so I would not jump to any conclusions.

There may be some changes to the way the store is operated in the future months, if so, any changes would be passed onto the forums and their web page in the line of a official TAR response.

Just be patient grasshopper, hopefully in the future there can be more and more TAR videos available for all of us pool groupies:D

Like Cali said, this is not true. If it were many people would have done it. From what Mark G was saying, I think TAR is possibly moving away from DVDs and looking to go into an "On Demand" system with a monthly fee and viewing from a website (think porn site).

I have no first hand knowledge of this, only what Griffin has said on the podcasts and PPV's.

Personally, I hope they continue to make the DVDs. I really enjoy the format and I watch them all the time. I have every one made with the exception of one. I wouldn't be as happy with an on demand system, although it would be easier for TAR.

For my sake, I hope they do both. I will continue to support the purchasing of PPV's and DVDs as long as they are willing to make them.

What everyone is missing is Mark Patrick's bizarre posting style --

he uses the 'Title' to begin his post so you all are missing

"you would think"

What he posted as his own thought turned into him making what some are thinking is a statement of fact.

Lol I know this guys...trust me I haven't sent an email to tar...you know what they say if it sounds too good to be true...

Im hoping to get the old stuff available but its not going to be anytime soon. At least after Reno in February.

Since they are not available through TAR (which is shocking to me that they would leave money on the table like that...) I would make a "wanted" post in the Wanted/For Sale section and buy a copy second hand.

I too, hope the DVD format continues. In fact, I received an iPad 2 for Christmas and promptly returned it because there is no DVD player...

I also find this shocking. JCIN, is this due to lack of time/resources or are there other reasons you don't want to offer the old matches?

This is due to much experience with the "I want to buy XYZ DVD" but when I spend the time and money to make them somehow magically it takes 24 months to sell 50 copies.

The money in DVD's isn't worth the hassle to me. Its the same every time. I say "Maybe this one will be different" It never is.

Well Justin remember there is alot of us who have alot of the TAR matches on dvd sets i remember buying alot of them at state one year. Maybe you should put them up to be bought then downloaded probably take along time but i for one would. Even though a order of ours didnt get handled recently i still give TAR support and bought TAR 24.

I would just be patient for right now and see what shakes out over the next few months. I'm a huge fan of Pool Dvd's too, so I just say... Relax for right now and let's just see what happens.

Go Shane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the response. Guess the economics don't make sense.
