Tar one pocket final

I asked him about it on Facebook this morning and he replied immediately to email him my information. Because of his customer service I bought the Shane vs efren one pocket match today.

Hey peanut gallery...this isn't an RKC thread, this is a JCIN thread....can't you read? or are you really that selfish that you'd rather disrespect Justin just to try and get to me?

Glen

Then why chime in on this in the first place? When you compare yourself with what JCIN is dealing with, well..... that is just fvcking retarded.

Once again, wrong thread buddy...re-read what I posted to Justin, maybe you have the fingers typing faster than the brain thinks problem too:kma:

Justin is a stand-up guy. Took care of me in I think it was 14 seconds. I don't know how anyone would post here instead of e-mailing him?

I don't get it. I paid for the entire one pocket match. They have a problem and I get shut out of the final. No business in America would run like this. I bought the entire match and didn't get the final. Either give me a refund or a credit or better yest access to watch the final when it's up. I don't care about the 10 ball. I wrote an e-mail and got no response so I am out here alone with no answer. I buy every one pocket match and will be very, very leary to buy again.
NO WAY TO TREAT ANY CUSTOMER!!! NO LOYALTY!!! YOU DESERVE THE SAME!!! BYE!!!

You suck.....

Tar

Justin updated my access control in less than 10 seconds upon an email to him. Thanks Tar for you do, and Justin is awesome!!!

Freeze ups

Justin,
Has anyone else reported a problem with the stream freezing? Most of the time it's working great, but every so often the stream will freeze for 5-45 seconds (sometimes as long as 2 minutes). I've cleared my cashe reloaded the page, tried 3 different browsers, rebooted the computer and it still does it. Like I said, most of the time it's fine but it seems to pick inopportune moments to freeze up. It's been doing it from the beginning. I even called my internet provider who checked the line and said they did something that might help. Someone told me they might have freed up some extra bandwidth for me(That shit's all Greek to me, I'm just repeating what I was told). Another buddy of mine who works with another professional streamer mentioned something about tricaster settings or rebooting or something to that effect. I'm not looking for a refund or *****ing at you, or anything like that, just wondered if anyone else experienced this and if you had any advise. I've missed a bunch of interesting shots/situations, the end of a few games and even a match which is kinda annoying.
Thanks in advance!

Sherm Adamson >> AKA "cuesmith" and I bought the whole package if that has any bearing.

Sherm the only issue I heard about from anyone today was a guy who had a problem with just the audio dropping for minute then coming back.

The stream has been going out on my end with no problems. It is an 800 Kbps stream which is higher than most normal streams at 400-600 kbps. You need about 1 Mbps download speed to view it smoothly. It sounds to me like a speed issue on your end.

ISP's are notorious for not providing the speeds they advertise. You can check your download speed here: http://www.speedtest.net/

I know its a pain in the ass when a stream doesn't work right. I hope it works out for you. I have no problem refunding you if you want one. Just let me know.

Maybe an Ohio thing because I am having the same issues as Sherm. My download speed is 18 Mpbs so I don't think its a speed issue

I did the speed test and it was 2.69mbps. I get most of the TAR events and also the streams that Accu-Stats does that uses the same company (which is light years ahead of any of the Ustream and other feeds I've seen, BTW) and I haven't had this problem before with TAR or Accu-Stats. I did experience it some with Big Truck and Alvins in Tunica, which were free so I didn't give it another thought.

Like I said before, I don't need a refund. I realize some of the obstacles you've encountered this week with the forfeited matches and the storms & power outages. Some of it was a PITA and disappointing but I can't blame you for any of that! But I really don't think the freezing is on my end. Like I said, I called my internet provider (Cincinnati Bell) yesterday and they did some kind of a check on my line. I told them I was watching an $80 PPV and they really seemed to try make sure there weren't any problems on their end. Another thing is the timing of the freeze-ups. It seems to have an uncanny ability to shut down so you miss the last couple of shots of almost every game. This last game it did it again just as Dennis started his final 3 ball run.
Trying not to be a PITA

I'm trying to get into watching this match, but I just can't take it any more. The fourth game along took an hour and a half!

I called AudioVideoWeb and had a tech look at what I am sending them. He said its all good to them and that he would keep an eye on it and contact me if there was any problem with what I am putting up to them.

There isn't anything else I know to do.

Five hours in and its 3-3 in a race to five.

At this point I hope it goes hill hill and eight hours long just for the hell of it.

I've had the freezing issue too. I know it's not a speed issue. My speed is checking in at 26 Mbps.

Not complaining either. Just letting you know.

AudioVideoWeb sent me a message after watching what I was sending up for a while and said they had about a 15 second drop between the encoder and server. Which means somewhere between me and them something is not stable.

Being that it is midnight on Sunday I won't be able to get a hotel IT guy to look at the hotel network until the morning. It could be something in the hotel or anything between me and AVW. The last time we had storms this bad in Vegas the internet connection in the TAR studio went to hell. Evidently water had gotten somewhere it wasnt supposed to and caused some problems. Maybe that is the case here I won't know until tomorrow.

Actually I wasn't going to type anything further until you chose to re-stir the pot :P
I guess if people polluting the thread bugs you... maybe next time
don't try to inject some lame self-serving comment about dealing with things beyond your control?

Well anyway, on the subject of the 1p final, the stream was better for me...
the little freezes were very random. I might get two 5 minutes apart,
or go for over an hour without one. If they never pinpoint it, I'll live,
the other 99% of the time it's smooth and has really nice quality.

Crazy ending if you can describe a one pocket match as crazy. Corey out-moved Dennis 3 to 1 but Dennis can run balls better than anyone I've ever witnessed. He gets on balls so well that are down table. His cue ball is the best in history.

Best in history? I disagree.
