TAR Podcast Tomorrow 9 PM eastern...Topic Suggestions?

How about a 1,000 point straight pool match with JS and the Lion?
4.5 inch pockets, please.

i think a interview with jason hunt via skype

The entertainment value of that would be off the hook!! Better yet bring him to Vegas to shoot on the table and show us mere mortals how to play the game as he's getting interviewed and to also let everyone know what is wrong with pool and how to fix it!!

Maybe Mark can tell us a bit about the change over to the Rio next year. Will there be shuttles to the strip? Are the room prices compatable to the the Riviera? Will all the events be grouped close together?
And oh yes, will there be restrictions for the senior events?

10 foots tables... here to stay or just another crazy fad?

(im hoping for the latter, my 8 footer barely fits in my house)

I'm kind of new to pool so sorry if there is an obvious answer. I've always wonder why are ferrules almost always white? I know OB cues has a wooden ferrule, is there a reason why other cue makers don't die the ferrule or use different material?

Also why are the majority of shafts white maple? I've seen some nice custom cues use an exotic wood like cocobola for the butt and thought how nice would that look if the shaft matched the butt. And I've never seen a maple shaft anything other than white, are dark stains illegal?

Why don't they put points or designs on the shaft?

Thanks for your time ~Banikane

shot clock, archer/reyes

efren lost because of a clock? that was horrible. i know time is valuable for everyone, but there are two hours until the next match. what is more important, the game or the rules. to me, it's like the nba referees deciding a game on a bad call, or the umpire in baseball changing the strike zone. archer played good, but the winner was the @#$% clock.

I think we are spoiled with the players being on the podcasts those few times. Not that Mark and Justin don't know everything that's going on in pool, it's just not going to carry an hour+ podcast. Between the podcast and AZ we have covered just about everything at least twice. Johnnyt

What do you mean "we"?

Relly should discuss the thread of the century for the whole 1.5 hours

This ^^^^^^^^^^^^llolololol. You know that feeling when summer break ends and you have to go back to school....thats kind of what it was like when the thread was closed.'
How do you get to the podcast...thru the tar website?

What do you guys think about the recent accu-stats challenges?

What did you guys think of the prices they tried to charge for the 14.1 tourney? Excessive? I heard the quality was not very good either - but not sure.

Any plans on doing anything overseas? Like a derby/tunica type event?

Spot shot

How about going back to ball in the kitchen , any balls made get spotted with option of taking shot or having opponent shoot again on any pocketed cue ball foul. Bring back the spot shot. :)

Why the big money difference between places at Tunica? Were the 1st places guaranteed?
