TAR PPV with Dippy and Bart has been cancelled

Yup a match is going on and its about as different from the 9 ball game as possible. This match was asked to be kept private and not be streamed so that's how its happening.

Worth mentioning, the last set yesterday Bart was up 23-16 going to 25, missed a 7 ball and Dippy wins 9 in a row from there to win (mostly combos on the 5 and 9). Try giving up 2:1 on the money betting 10k and fading that... That would break most backs.

I hope this was at least recorded?? This is exactly what we wanted to see in the stream. At least put it on DVD for $10 and make some money?

I hope you never turn the camera off Justin, that should be automatic to play in the studio... not everything has to be live streamed, but at least you and possibly the players/backers could make some money on DVD sales of this.

This is like Accu-Stats taken to the next level, and is exactly where we need to go to get money from sponsors injected into the industry. This is much more like a boxing match then watching tournament play, and it has the possibility of becoming big for pool.

I doubt that is an option. Even if it is, it would probably be more difficult for him to keep track of who has already paid and who hasn't. Probably best to get the refund and just buy the next one. That way you don't get people saying, "I already paid" even if they didn't.

There is zero doubt about it, JCIN will succeed with this plan. Like anything shit happens and lessons are learned. Its great to see that most people are being cool about it, and it was cool that Vif did something for JCIN, thats a stand up move. I wish he would have called me to come fill in for Chris, I would play Vif some old school 8 ball(take what you make on the break) rules. But I didnt get the call:smile:.

I have a building across the street from Cue Club with a vacancy Walking distance. That would make a perfect room for what JCIN is doing-it has enough room for a good size rail and a box or two and lounge area etc. I have owned the building since since 03, actually 50% of it, so I can get half off the rent. I didnt know it was empty until yesterday(I dont pay much attention to that stuff). So there is a back up plan for JCIN. I'll pay the rent for the studio if he ever needs a spot. If I knew about the open spot, I would have offered it to JCIN for free-I have to pay 50% of the rent cause i dont own 100% of the building. I wanted to talk to JCIN in May but he was busy, and I was too-then i left town for the past couple months.


So down the road, if you need a spot and I have one open, I'll pay the rent. I believe this is the way of the future in pool. That offer stands.

JCIN is a hell of a guy, and is doing great things for pool.

He said it right too "playing before the game, is a bad plan" thats a action killer almost every time. Because someone will always see something they dont like and pull up. You cant ever let players play before the "Action" with out risking the real game. Because when they start playing the action has started no matter what the bet is. This is not specific to this time, it applies to all action. It can go the other way if both sides see something they like, but more often it dont work that way.


JCIN has alot of heart and this is only one day, action is spontaneous and waits for no one, I have seen games fall apart in 30 seconds after weeks of planning, and seen action just happen with 5 minutes planning. Thats pool. Action waits for no one. the deposit idea would cover JCIN's biz and I like that plan. I know we all want this to work.
