TAR ripped me off - Please read

This issue is almost exactly like one that I had with TAR and it should have been handled the way I handled it. I called and PM'd the BigNasty Man and he took care of it.

Done...... over......good night!!

Also, I picked up a shirt from Justin at a tourney and he gave me a free shirt!!

The original poster can change the thread title name. All he has to do is click on "edit" and then "go advanced", change the title and click "save".

He edited his original post, so with the knowledge on how to edit the thread title, it would be nice to see the thread title changed to something more appropriate.

It all worked out as it would if it were handled properly. Now all we have is a guy who thinks it's OK to slander a good company with lies (TAR ripped me off).

Slandering good companies with lies may have brought the MaxeyPad problem to an end, but it doesn't make it right!!

He owes them a public apology.

Every once and a while we get to see an example of deftly handled situation by the seller. No push back, no name calling, no circling of the wolf pack, no screw you and anybody who thinks I am wrong. Just a Business Man who sees opportunity in adversity. Not only will the OP buy from them again, I think some might have even been prompted to buy simply because of the professional manner in which this was adjudicated.

Actually, only the moderators can change the actual title that we all see.

I just tried it and you are correct. Sorry for the misleading info folks. When I saw that the title could be changed, I didn't actually test it. It does not change the thread title, only the title inside your post.
 
I'm also greatly offended by TAR. I wanted a longer match, so I could enjoy a few more hours of great pool by top players and interesting commentary by a couple of pool rounders. What gives, we barely got 16 hours of pool for our money. Justin and Chad, do you realize that we paid $1.50 an hour for this short, short show? It should have been at least 25 hours long. Can you fix that next time? Or at least have a back up match waiting in the wings.

I know, I know, you'll say that people often pay $50 to see two boxers dance around for fifteen minutes before one guy throws in the towel. But that's different, they're famous! And they can get away with it.

I demand another match from TAR. I mean c'mon, all you've given us is a few epic battles like SVB vs. Alex the Lion, Schmitty vs. Danny Boy, Sarah vs. Monica, T-Rex vs. Gabe 60 and a Ring Game full of pool killers. When do we get to see the good stuff like they have on TV? You know where the guy draws the ball four rails or another guy runs a rack in 16 seconds. I guess I'll just have to keep watching TAR matches until I get what I want. I'll force myself to wade through these slugfests with the best pool players in the world, for another few years anyway. ;)

maxeypad2007 - Decided a slanderous thread was the way to go. Refuses to man up and offer a simple apology. Say's he'll "probably" still buy a TAR item.

The boys at TAR are in high demand and extremely busy. I'm sure there are others that may have fallen through a crack. But they didn't start a thread saying they've been ripped off. They simply understood what probably happened and sent a reminder or made a call and left a message.

I ordered a 2 DVD/OB1 during the US Open, so it didn't go thru the web store. I didn't have a confirmation or anything, it was like a week later and i never heard anything, I sent an email about my order and didn't hear anything back, impatient as i am the next day i sent a PM to JCIN and he responded within an hour about the status of my order. Just as he did here, he gave a number if i had any questions i could call, the same day my shaft arived and about 3-4 days later i got my dvds. Don't see how anyone can say they aren't customer friendly.

I guess is all else fails try a PM on AZ :wink:

The title is only changed IN the thread, not in the Forum itself. Only a moderator can change the main title.

Hopefully maxeypad will at least ask the mods to change the title.

I see your point but sometimes people don't read the whole thread.
I guess if the OP was willing to edit his first post to extend his apology for starting such a silly thread with a dumb title. :nono: :indecisive:

No, He refused to apologize for the deceptive title.

He did agree to remove the statement, but I guess not the title.
