TAR Table - collectable?

How much would the TAR table go for it Justin puts it up for sale? Double a regular Diamond? Would it need signatures of the match participants to be worth a premium?

When the main table at a pool hall I used to go to before it shut down got reclothed, the owner had all the regulars sign the old cloth and put it up on the wall. Should the cloth on the TAR table be preserved in some manner?

I think that table and the matches it hosted is as important to the history of pool as any other table. The Mosconi record table, the one Earl won the million on, etc...

sadly, I don't think its worth anything extra. I passed on the famous Bustmante/Archer signed table when the pool room closed for one of the other ones because of the signatures. I would have just had them sanded off anyways. Its sad but pool players just aren't untouchable celebrities like other sports.

No I don’t think it is worth a premium.

Now, Earl Strickland’s magnifying glass used in the last match with Shane...priceless.

IMO it's worth whatever a used Diamond goes for in that area. Zero premium.

We all know that table will command whatever price ONE person feels it is worth. Sometimes money and valuation take a distant 2nd and 3rd place to the coveted #1 - I OWN IT

IMO that would be a good idea. If every player that had a match there signed that cloth, put in a killer frame... I am sure you would get some strong offers from collectors. Then the table I think would be worth more than a standard used Diamond.
