All Pete's cues are "BIG" IMO but it's not always about the amount of inlays for me........but if you're counting mine has enough plus a tone of ivory and a piece from George B. Pete included in it as well to make this one a contender as well.................at least in my eyes :)............enjoy....like i do all the Pete's works............

Well if the cue is not real big, those tusks sure are.

This cue is also one of my favorites.
Love the veneer combination in this one as one of my favorites.
The inlay work came out exceptional - really clean.

Thanks for posting and REP to you.

I Instead of compairing the biggest and most lets enjoy what we have and be happy that we atleast are blessed enough to have even one great cue-some guys here dont..

Amen, brother. Bigger is not always better. That wrapless titlist with the hoppe ring is my favorite out of the whole bunch. Is the gold or diamonds gonna make the cue play better?

Thank you for posting these pics. Seriously. I have really enjoyed looking at all of these. It's a real treat.

If there is a bigger Tascarella cue out there in terms of number of inlays than mine (120), I'd sure like to see it, and I've yet to see one or hear about the existence of one.

I'M NOT LOOKING FOR AN ARGUMENT, BUT I DO ENJOY THEM SO HERE WE GO.

LIKE I WROTE BEFORE..... "I THINK MANY PEOPLE HAVE THEIR OWN IDEAS OF WHAT MAKES A CUE "BIG". FOR SOME IT'S PRECIOUS METALS, FOR SOME IT'S RARE STONES, TO OTHERS IT'S RARITY AND PROVENENCE."

DID I SAY ANYTHING ABOUT NUMBER OF INLAYS?

YOUR CUE TO ME IS VERY NICE, AND IT DOES HAVE ALOT OF INLAYS. BUT, IMO IT CAN'T BE CALLED "THE UNDISPUTED CHAMP". SOME PEOPLE MAY FEEL THAT IT IS, BUT I'M ALSO SURE THAT THERE ARE OTHERS THAT DON'T FEEL THAT WAY.

I THOUGHT I HAD COVERED MYSELF WITH MY QUOTED STATEMENT ABOVE, BUT I GUESS I WAS WRONG.

P.S. THE "UNDISPUTED CHAMP" OF BALABUSHKA CUES, HAS VERY FEW INLAYS IN IT.

Marcus,

Methinks someone is insecure about how big it is
like most Porsche owners, and other habitual masterbaters.

Now why do you have to dog on Porsche owners? At least this one knows the difference between real Ostrich & embossed leather. :embarrassed2::embarrassed2::embarrassed2:

That cue in the middle is the absolute NUTS.....for me, anyway. Love the colors, love the classic design.....yeah, it's pretty much okay by me!! :)

BUT, IF YOU JUST WANT TO GO BY NUMBER OF INLAYS, YOU CAN COUNT ALL THOSE VENEERS THAT ARE INLAID INTO THESE BARS.

P.S. IT'S WAY MORE THAN 120 STACKED PIECES OF VENEER.

Marcus:

Comparing the tiny stacked pieces of veneer in the photo that you deleted to the Gold & Ivory inlays in my Tascarella is no comparison at all. I guess that's why you deleted your photo.

YOU WERE THE ONE PLAYING THE COMPARISON GAME....... YOUR CLAIM TO "BIGGEST CUE" WAS BASED ON NUMBER OF INLAYS. MY POINT WAS, YOUR CUE DOESN'T HAVE THE MOST INLAYS. IS IT FANCIER THAN THE STACKED BARBELL CUE, YES IT IS....... I NEVER MADE THE CLAIM OF HAVING "THE BIGGEST CUE". I'M JUST BACKING UP MY POINT.

A GUY ASKED FOR PICS OF TASCARELLAS, I POST PICS....YOU DECEIDE TO COME IN, POST SOME PICS, AND MAKE A CLAIM THAT YOU CAN'T BACK UP. IN MY INITIAL POST TO YOU, I MADE MY POINT. YOU, OR NO ONE FOR THAT MATTER, CAN CLAIM THAT THEY HAVE THE "BIGGEST EVER". DIFFERENT PEOPLE WILL HAVE DIFFERENT FACTORS IN WHAT MAKES A CUE "BIG".

AS FAR AS THE PICTURE BEING GONE.......I TOOK NEW PICS OF SOME OF MY CUES, AND THE LINKS CHANGED WHEN I UPLOADED THEM. HERE'S THE NEW ONE.

P.S. DO YOU THINK A TASCARELLA WITH 8 IVORY POINTS IS "BIGGER" THAN YOUR CUE?

I KNOW, THAT'S WHY I FIND THIS STUFF FUNNY. I BUY THE CUES I WANT. DOESN'T MATTER TO ME WHAT OTHERS THINK. I ACTUALLY PASSED ON THE CUE THAT HE CLAIMS IS THE "BIGGEST". SO I GUESS TO ME THAT IT'S NOT. IT'S A GREAT CUE, BUT IT'S NOT MY CUP OF TEA, NOR DO "I" FEEL IT'S THE BIGGEST. (OR I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT)

MY FAVORITE PART OF THE ARGUMENT, IS THAT HE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT OTHER "BIG" CUES ARE OUT THERE FROM THE TASCARELLAS. NOT EVERY CUE GETS PUT OUT FOR PUBLIC DISPLAY.

When first looking at that cue some time ago I thought that the wood used between the yellow(ish?) and black veneers was a thin line of dark curly maple or a lightly stained curly maple.

Although now I can imagine that those are stacked veneers I never would have thoughts in my right mind that those could be veneers indeed. Never.
