Team Names That You Like For League Night

The top team out of Terre Haute was the "WOLF PACK". I had a team called the "REBELS WITH A CAUSE".

Just an idea for big tournaments that I would like to try calling ourselves "BYE". My thinking was when the other team saw the board they would think they had a bye and not show up.

I said I was a sport, didnt say I was a good sport...;)

I run a BCA league and my team names are always causing a stir at the bank when I show up to pull the funds for payouts at the end of a season. Couple of examples:

Stick & Balls
*****es & Boys
It Takes Balls
ICU Rackin'
No Slackers (this is our team name; when one of us gets a bad roll the rest of the team typically shouts NO Slack for you!)
Fluffer Trax (last session their team name was Bow Chicka Bowow so I changed it to the name of a website that only plays porn music - at their request.)

Best one I ever saw was on a shirt in Vegas - Bump Shape a ricochet of perfection!

The best name we have had was COME GET SOME,now we are BACK IN BLACK kinda inside joke
 
we play against an all women's team sponsored by.. "the Bar" there team name "B Dolls"

My team name is Cueing Me Softly, no relation to similiar sounding Dione Warwick song. This season 3 of the 5 team members came from disbanded team called Can't Miss. So, I offered to change the team name to Can't Miss by Cueing Me Softly.
 
We have used Better Lucky Than Good for over 4 years... first in the APA now in the ACS... my avatar which the wifey made is our team shirts. Came out pretty good.
 
Team I was on for a few years was. Mo' Fugger's

Usually all you heard at the end of the night was "Who beat you?" "Those damn Mo' Fuggers"
 
Team Title

We talked about great team names and decided that "Oh yeah, you've got a bye" was a great one. Just think of a National Tournament and they announce "On table one Dream Team and Oh yeah, you've got a bye. You'd probably win a few forfeits because the other team didn't show up to play.
 
My Team Names in the past

Golden horseshoes (got a golden horseshoe up your but)

Strokin It EZ
What The Frank's
And the last 8 ball team I was on that I wasn't captain was Pick Pockets
 
I was on a team named No Idea once. We were trying to figure out a name and we asked a guy on the team what he thought and he said "no idea".

So when the guy running the league asked us our team name we said no idea.

"No idea? What's the name of the team"?

"No idea".

"Well think about it and I'll be back".

Kind of like the old Abbot and Costello routine who's on first.

Lol! That reminds me of my 9 ball team "Who Knows?" from last year's APA nationals.

My current 8 & 9 ball team's name is "On The Snap!" which came from my hill-hill match (8 ball), winner sends team to TAP nationals. And my co-captain yelled out right here Mo, On The Snap! And bah bam...we're going to Vegas baby. It was freaking awesome! :thumbup:

My wife named our Scotch team, The Nerve Rackers.

My wife and I were in Vegas in 09 and ran into a lady that had a team shirt with the same name. I guess it wasn't as original as I had thought.
