I just got this back from Scot at Proficient Billiards......As usual he did a great job. This model is my favorite Palmer, with the titlist points.

In the gold foil window it says "Teddy Bear Original by Palmer"

Beautiful cue. I assume second catalog, Model D? One thing, that's a strange green veneer for a Titlist blank. To my knowledge, they were sort of an aqua green rather than what looks like a forest green on this cue. Any background on that?

I had to replace the forearm as the orignal forearm was warped. So while it has titlist colored veneers, it is not an actual titlist forearm.

I thought so. Great looking cue nonetheless, somebody went to a lot of effort on that cue.

Hopefully this comes out right, but probably not.

I think this is a great looking cue, and that folks could have this cue for the same price as what people are paying for Meucci, or Predator cues.

IMO crazy to buy a production cue.

Checkers sell more than chess I suppose.
