Freddy,
I felt I had to say thank you. I recently purchased your Banking book. Wow. I am glad I never had the misfortune of falling into a match with you.
I have not had a chance to truly get into the book or practice the shots on a table. I have only had a chance to read and learn some of the banking theory you explain related to speed, siding and angles. All I can say is wow. I have improved my banking by at least 500%. I find myself getting agressive and taking on, and making, many more banks than every before. It has really helped my level go higher.
Before reading your book I was ok at standard cross sides and ok at standard long banks. Off angle cut banks, controlling the CB and still making the bank, and a variety of other parts of successful banking were a mystery to me. I have read Robert Byrnes and Phil Capells books. Both show how to find the standard entry angle, but I struggled learning how to adapt to the various situations that occur in a real game. Not any more.
In short, you are a genius and I thank you sincerely for writing this book that should be a tome of learning on the shelf of every player that wants to bank with confidence and accuracy.
Regards,
