Hey AZer's,
For all you Tascarella nutz out there...
Here is some pictures of my 14kt GOLDEN Tascarella..
Pete was nice enough to let me help design this cue..
This is a one of a kind to date..
This is the Badest Tascarella on the planet..
All the metal in this cue is 14kt gold.. There is about 120 total inlays in the cue... Made with (my favorite) 3/8x10 Ivory joint..
YES... This has an Amboyna forearm.......
Pete mentioned that this is his 1st Lizard wrap..
This cue might make it's way to the wanted f/s section in the future..
Enjoy

Wow, Ken, that's really amazing. You and Pete did a great job on the design. The inlays have a quality that gives them depth, like they are floating in space. While there are a lot of inlays, it comes off as a clean overall look. It's truly a beautiful, tasteful, classic cue. The point inlays are especially cool.

hmmm.. here is a question for you guys...

how do you think this cue would compare in price to say ONE of the SEARING Twins (lets say the searing 6 pointer) that kenny had.. which would you say would be worth more? the searing or the tasc and why?

i know they both cue makers are Cuemaking super legends..and the searing is super fancy for a searing and this tasc is amazing for a tasc..and anybody that is lucky enough to own either would be floating on cloud 9.. i was just wondering.. thanks chris

Pete told me about this cue. it looks really nice. it just makes it harder to wait for mine to get started. they (Sr. and Jr.) always makes the wait worth it though.

ken, that is by far the nicest tascarella i have ever seen. what a great design and great workmanship! congrats on a fantastic cue.

Hey Chris,
When I ordered the Searing Twins they were also very special.. It was work that he never did before, also the first 8 pointer..
I also designed the Searing twins with Dennis... You can see the similarities, because I used a motification off of the same design... Very good catch on your part.. I was wondering if someone would see the similiarities..
Both Cuemakers put there touches into the cues to make it there own..
This cue should be treated in the same catagory as the Searings.. Pete's cues are in very high demand.. As to answer the question of worth more.. Top cues from both makers.. I guess I'll find out...
Best,

Your creative side does come out when providing inputs to the master out there. Hope to see some more of this collaboration with other cue makers as well.

Very nice looking cue and hope to see it join another magnificent collection should you decide to put it up for sale.

Very, very nice

Ken congrats on another sweeeet pick up.

It's amazing how amboyna has taken off and in my opinion the most popular exotic would used in high end cues. It's funny, Ernie doesn't use it and thinks it is just too unstable.

On the other hand, one of your favorites and mine, Mr. Schick does such nice stuff with amboyna. You have had a couple of those. :) He is got one in the works for me at the moment. Amboyna, birdseye, silver and ivory. Hopefully it will be with me at the ICCS show in October. I am definitely chomping at the bit.

Glad to see Pete do one in amboyna. His work is so good.

Take care and great addition to your collection.

Jimmy

That is one of the nicest birthday presents you could have given yourself. Hope you had a great birthday!

Super nice cue there Ken. I wonder if Marcus will take a shine to it? :D

Marcus will be drolling if he says it...beautiful cue indeed...congrats...

Ken, that is one great looking Tascarella. The design has a lot of the features that I would choose in designing a cue. Dave

hey ken,,,,,,,,,if you were a collector, would either you or marcus swap this cue for his rosewood/rosewood.

I do have a large collection of cues that I haven't put up for sale at this time.. As for swapping for the Rosewood? I sold the Rosewod/Rosewood to Marcus.. Beautiful cue, but it has a home..
Best,
Ken
