The 6 Month Fiddle Case

Evening All,

About 6 months ago I found a pretty shredded fiddle case at a local Flea Market here in East TN. I thought that it would make a really neat cue case and started messing around with it. I used different glues, embossed leathers, ect until I finally came across the combination that I liked.

I settled on Brown Ostrich with a black interior. You will notice in the pics that it is a 2x4. 2 butts in the bottom with 4 shafts in the lid. I did have it configured as a 3x5 but had absolutely no storage room inside it. With the 2x4 you will notice a pocket on each perspective side of the butts (leather pull tabs are centered on the pockets.

Anyway, a couple of pics from a lot of work and a lot of satisfaction after FINALLY being finished

Well done. That is pretty cool, and looks to be very nicely finished.

Fiddle/cue case

Nice job.. American ingenuity at its best. I have an old fiddle case from
NC that belonged to my father-in-law and I was wondering what to do with it. Now I know.:D:D:D

Thanks fellas. A lot of satisfaction every time I take her out and someone comments on it =) I used to mod computers..now cue cases. lol
