i was going to keep quiet and leave the eric thing alone but in hindsight i should apologize to eric.in an earlier post discussing the altercation i said eric took the heat and wanted to get physical.i now must retract that and say if i spoke to barton this much i think i could see getting angry.im out

You had better leave my wife out of it. I mean it. I am not playing Lou. This is the second time you have chosen to implicate my wife.

I suggest you let it go.

Lou, you'd better stop mentioning John's wife. He could threaten to never give you action again.

The problem is that no one in their right mind, right before playing for 10k, is going to bark at someone else to play (for a lesser amount). The main focus should have been on the big upcoming match.

You don't like Eric, and you know he doesn't like you. So barking at him before your match with Lou was not smart, and you should have known it wasn't going to end well.

I know this. Still no one made Mr. Wall Street come over and get in my face.

I am fully aware of how stupid I was.

Shouldn't you be concentrating more on your business? You said after you loss that you were going to stop being so obsessed about 1pocket and that you were going to focus more on your business.

Judging how you post on AZ, you are not concentrating on your business. Rather than sit here and argue about something, that people saw you did with their very own eyes, you should be posting on the for sale section and contribute to the case gallery forum.

Let this one die out just like that Voturi rant.

Not obsessed with one hole just with assholes.

Still waiting for the JB lie detector YouTube video. I know it is coming.

Barton doesn't strike me as the type that could stay cool and beat a legit lie detector so if he passed one I would believe it.

You know what? I always shake my head when I read delusional stuff like this. I think you watch too many action movies.

So, how many ppl have you really seen get shot over a confrontation? "Many"?? I have my doubts.

Here's some reality for ya. Carrying a weapon comes with a lot of responsibility. Most ppl that carry, don't have a decent level of training. If/when a situation comes up, everyone defaults to their level of training readiness. When do you draw your weapon? When do you shoot? Do you shoot someone execution style from a nice comfy 30 feet away and risk being charged with murder? Do you wait until the person is, as you put it, "in your face" to draw your weapon? At that distance (point blank), what happens if it turns into a struggle for your weapon and you are grappling with a perosn that is physically superior and better trained? Do you feel confident that you will retain your weapon and not have it turned on you??

So, being that your level of training is prolly from your last fight in 8th grade, I would stop posting ridiculous stuff, from a safe distance. You've never been in harms way.

Eric

I'll answer this one. The most important aspects of carrying a gun is situational awareness and deescalation. Avoiding a situation is more important than having to defend yourself and, if the opportunity presents itself, if you can deescalate without compromising your position then your're better off as well. Those 2 things are the most important aspects of weapon's training that can be taught.

If we took a poll of all the people on here who know me in person and who have met me and seen me in action in the pool room 99% of them are going to say I am polite and fun to be around. I generally stir up a little action when I am comfortable in a pool room and am super polite and outgoing otherwise.

This "person" Eric Hu is really indescribable how despicable of a human he is from my perspective. I am not going to run down the history again but he has really very little grasp on the truth and will lie about EVERYTHING in order to put another person down.

I promise you I have barked at hundreds of people in pool rooms without incident in my life. This guy is simply a bully who thought he could intimidate me by walking over with a pool ball clenched in his fist. No one MADE him do that.

Like everyone on here....we are still waiting for the 2014 line.

We want to see what is out for the year.

I want to see a leather Rugged case. I am hoping it comes out to the mass public at least in this 2nd quarter.

With a $200 price point....I am all over it.

I will never carry a gun. Over time I have come to see it as a legitimate means of protection but I personally would not want the responsibility that comes with it. I could easily see myself using a gun out of passion instead of responsibility.

I have thought about it a lot. I have read a lot about it. I have asked my friends who carry about it. I might still take classes on how to handle guns when I am back in Oklahoma. But traveling around the USA with all the different laws I certainly don't want to be caught with a gun where it's not allowed. One of my friends who used to carry large amounts of money said he'd rather take the chance than to be without the protection. He carries every day and you would never know it.

I guess that's how it is for 99% of people who carry. I rarely see ordinary people openly carrying and I rarely have had anyone tell me that they have a weapon on them without the conversation being about weapons.

I did have a gun once for one trip which was kept in the glovebox. It was not my gun. It was loaned to me by a friend because I had a situation where I felt unsafe going to an event in anticipation of someone else being there. When I got there I didn't carry the gun in. I left it in the van. The whole time I thought about that gun and what I would do if something happened. I realized that the gun being in the car was useless to me practically but still a hell of a burden mentally. On the way back from the event I was pulled over for speeding and I had to get the paperwork out of the glove compartment without showing the gun. I was scared and vowed then never to carry a gun.

That was 18 years ago. Since then I have thought about it and while I can see some benefits for me the downsides personally far outweigh the benefits of being a carrier. One of which is that I would probably go to prison for murder or attempted murder for removing a few total wastes of oxygen from this existence. Or die trying.

As for defusing a situation peacefully that is also the primary lesson taught by the Gracies in their BJJ classes. Although you learn how to fight they teach you how to avoid fights because the ultimate lesson of self defense is to avoid getting hurt and the best way to avoid getting hurt is not to get into a fight.

Great Post, Handguns are effective if they are used and properly. Of all the police officers I have ever met the vast majority have never discharged their weapons at a suspect. They are pulled to show the offender that they mean business and to protect the officer's life more than anything else. Lasers are very effective at getting that point across.. Now back to the nasty, ugly comments.. Have a wonderful day!!

That is so funny because living in California, the cops are the opposite.

There are coalition movements here to arm the citizen against cops.

Too bad nobody is aware of the Christopher Dorner case. Cops were so paranoid of this particular fugitive that they would shoot at cars that matched the description of his vehicle.

I won't back down from that "person" ever. Eric would have to kill me to insure I didn't come back.

I am only responsible for talking to him. You can stop the utter bullshit about me being responsible for Eric choosing to walk over to me with a pool ball and "double dog daring" me to challenge him again.

Say what you want but no one twisted his arm to threaten violence.

You weren't talking to him you were goading him and would not stop it. Given the history you two have it was a pretty stupid thing to do and I think you got exactly the response you were expecting.

Here are the facts:

Your wife was at Sandcastle.
She went running out of the arena at one point.
She was sitting right next to Dennis most of the match, next to your player's chair.
She, and Dennis, would clapped loudly later in the match when you would shoot a good shot.

People can draw their own conclusions, I don't have to implicate anyone.

Lou Figueroa

Whatcha gonna do? Offer up a wager? You were mentioning your wife the whole lead-up to this and how she was going to spend the money.

Hey, remember this?

"Actually you have claimed to be a better player than those you insult. I have also played the game for decades and played with, spoken with, shared vacations with, had lessons from, sponsored, gambled against, loaned money to, borrowed money from and otherwise lived life with professional players for the past 20 years. Your experience does not trump mine yet you persist even in the above paragraph in thinking that it does."

(I tossed it in for free.) You couldn't make up a better story.

Or this? Yeah, that's some good stuff right there.

Ah yes. Great memory. Thanks, Banks.

As much as the posts from John and Lou entertain people, they tend to turn my stomach. I read them like someone looks at a train wreck.

I don't know what is worse. The posts by these two or the posts by Rhea.

I don't know ANY of the THREE, but, to ME, it seems like ALL of them have issues that need to be dealt with.

John and Lou have some sort of problem where they can't let anyone have the LAST WORD. THEY (John and Lou) will NEVER stop posting crap about each other...I don't care if they play 100 matches or who wins...they will NEVER STOP.

The Ignore feature is your friend.

I am perfectly willing to be nice and cordial. However when Lou starts accusing my wife of deliberately sharking him then that's another line too far.

I suppose I can only imagine he is being coached by his banned backer on what to write.

I did not accuse her of deliberately doing anything other than running out of the arena, supposedly to greet Dennis. I was told you were working out with him in the days leading up to the match, so that makes sense.
