It finally sunk in that she couldn't make a game from her judgement.

She still wants to eat the junk and i don't think shes getting the proper rest.

No exercise at all. ZERO...........

She will NEVER get to another level like this.

What she is trying to do is do what she has always done.

I don't think it got her too far.

On the road you can't just hop on the table everyday and pay that table time. it will just eat you up. Just like eating in all the resturants for $7 to $10 a meal.

If we both ate at these places every meal that would be $1800 per month and we would be eating food that was bad for us and probably too much.

She's taking care of the too much as far as ice cream and anything with sugar.

Doesn't have to wash her pants. Just has to buy a new pair that will fit the new body size.

She finally realized if she was managing the money soon there wouldn't be enough.

I was at the end of my rope as far as putting up with rediculous moves as far as bad games that she thought she was the favorite.

She is not my slave or pet and can go anytime she wants.

We still got so much work to do. She needs to know how to be humble a little. I get tired some times when she keeps telling me how good she plays.

There is so much more to pool than just shooting in the balls.

When she really gets shooting well she will understand how much she really doesn't understand.

That's when she will start to become a great player.

I told her that she needs to practice on a table and work on the things she needs to do.

She plays action and forgets everything that I showed her and is back to square one.

She tells me she only wants to play when shes in action. :eek:

She'll bust us for sure..

She can play on a table for 1 hour by herself working on things she needs to do but doesn't want to do that.

OK then. You don't get to play much then. Unless you play real good the player pool you can gamble with is pretty small. And many of the lesser skilled players don't gamble much but there are exceptions.

It's going to be my way or the highway.

it just can't be any other way.

When I was younger I always hated going on the road with friends. they had no clue what to do or how to act. They would either screw up the action with their mouth or try to get us killed.

This is why i traveled on the road by myself. And I got to like it.

And actually made money.

I went busted 2 times on the road. Both times the player that i went with lost all the money. I had no control at the time. They were supposed to be the smarter gambler.

Rhea is deffinitely not the brains of this operation and won't be for a long time.

If anyone wants to take my place your welcome to it.

But don't let Rhea kid anyone.

She knows that I know what I'm doing and is in good hands for now.

Just need to get healthy...............

Ha ha damn u might be the guy I would go on the road with and end up busting myself before we got home.I don't see how belittling ur road partner on public forums can help her game..But hey..its ur trip..

It seems you got your hands full Gene. If she doesn't wise up soon I see this coming to a end real quick. Things can't continue like that. I hope you guys are able to work it out, it sounds like a good opportunity for her.
I understand what you are saying about staying healthy. I didn't get it when I was younger and probably wouldn't have listened either back then, but now I see the benefit of playing when you are in good shape and feeling fit. Everything comes easier.

:-) Getting put on ignore by Lou is a badge of honor. It basically means he can't fade the comebacks when he knocks.

Lou essentially wants to be the only one who can knock at leisure with no criticism for it.

IMO that is. I have no idea what is in his head.

Sounds like you all are starting to get on the other person's nerves quite a bit...:eek:

This happens a lot when two people are on the road together for long periods. Sometimes you have to take a break. Take a day or two away from one another for the majority of the day. Go out to see a movie or to the park. Just get yourself a break and enjoy time with yourself...both of ya'll.

You both might want to consider taking a break from posting for a few days. Your posts are starting to get combative a bit towards one another and posters are just gonna eat it up and add fuel to the fire.

The long hours on the road can really do a number on you mentally, especially in rough waters. Go to the gym and get some stress relief.

I hope to see them on the same page quick. It wears on you otherwise.
 
In the trading business we have a saying "Cut your losses short and let your profits run."

I guess it's just because of my background, but I'd have cut my losses a long time ago. You can always partner up at some point in the future, but staying in a losing trade -- hoping it becomes profitable -- is like playing a better player but giving him a spot.

I would but he won't go into smoking places and that takes away a lot of options and possibilities. I'm not found of them either but if pool is how you make your income it's just sort of an occupational hazard. Lots of smoking spots with lots of players and action.
 
Gene your worry is 100 percent legit. Your worried about losing all your money and going broke. If your on here talking to us about it, I'm sure you have already exhausted it with Rhea. It sounds like it comes down to trust. You don't trust your partner to make the right decisions for you two to stay a float or profit. This trust must have been lost somewhere due to rheas actions. I'd be panicky too if I was making all the money and couldn't trust the person I was with not to take not blowing it on stupid things seriously. You gotta stop the bleeding Gene. I'm sure you didn't go into this to have to babysit or parent Rhea.
 
I have quietly enjoyed this thread. That being said. .....awe Hell. ....Go Off artist pure and simple.
