How will you store and transport that gold? How will you keep from being robbed of it?

Where will you sleep and eat? How will you keep from being raped by passers by? --

THESE things are easier to answer with $1M in Gold and NO DEBT (LOL)....

the property is no more an encumbrance then the air you breath or the water you drink. the property provides the ability to not be a slave to anything or anyone...or to be as you say "unencumbered"...

that is all I have to say if you disagree great.. you are right / I am wrong... I have found that is the best way to end a conversation with you...

Best of luck

So you can go back to your regularly scheduled Mosconi cup talk.

Thank you, Are you sure? We can stick around and hand out more advice that falls on deaf ears if you like.

Evan a house that is paid for requires city tax to be paid and the responsibility of yard up keep and not letting the cars pile up in the back yard, unless you live in a trailer park.

Owning a gaming system requires you to realize that it is 5 am and you should try and get some sleep so you can kill more bad guys tomorrow.

Why I no longer own one.

Owning a vehicle requires responsibility. Plates, fuel, maintenance and insurance.

Recently, I watched a small video of a man that finally came back to his home city in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He had been gone and traveled the world for 20 years. Kind of reminded me of Forest Gump when he got on his running kick.

He had snuck into Afghanistan when the war was going on. He said that the cheapest hotel that he stayed at was 4 cents a night. He did work here and there to get enuff travel money to move on.

But, he had a daily, weekly, monthly plan that allowed him to do this.

I don't think traveling light, working here and there is what Rhea had in mind.

Anyway, by lack of any response from Rhea regarding any advice offered, it does sound like she is on her own mission.

Most likely just another that if one doesn't hear what they need to hear, it falls on deaf ears. AZ members can only be a Support Group for so long.

I doubt that many will be overly interested in this thread from here on out. It was kind of dead and boring many pages ago. You can only say the same thing in different words so many times before it gets tedious. It should drop off to page 50 in short order.

Gene is currently at the Hallow giving a pool lesson, when he is finished he will pick me up and drop me off at the Hallow to grind out whatever cash I can today. I plan to play sets for $25 a piece but its hit and miss there with very little going on.

Cool don't converse if you aren't prepared for other viewpoints. Property can be taken by force. Liberty can also be taken by force. You are no more "free" with property than without it. What you have more of when you have money, which is not the same as property, is ability to do more easily that which requires money to do. You can do things faster and in more comfort. And you have access to certain things which only possession of money grants you.

Money does not buy happiness. Ever heard that before?

Money and property are tools. Things people acquire and use as they like and can. No person who has a lot of money is worth more as a person than the one who is flat broke. Their value to themselves and society is what they do with their lives.

Some of the most influential world changing people died broke and some died in great debt and some never owned anything in their lives.

Sorry that you seem to see such people as bums.

OK you are Right and I am Wrong...

BUT PLEASE show me the post where I said anything about bums? you are mixing posts again (are you still taking your meds?!)

nor did I say anything about value of a life -- ( Risperdal is covered under Obamacare you should check it out next time over here)

You going off and creating a straw man to knock down is very entertaining but has nothing to do with the quotation that I added to the thread..

BUT (IMHO) to say someone who owes a couple of hundred thousand too Bill Gates is as free as Bill Gates is simply wrong.... "the borrower is slave to lender.." always was always will be ...

and FWIW my gold meets a couple of these

Wow. This type of response from a person who said he was done with the conversation. Interesting.

Monday I ordered some books from Amazon with Gene's permission. I ordered 3 books on the mental game and 1 on safeties, and 1 on 1 pocket. I am pretty excited to get to read them.

Today I overcame a new hurdle for me. I decided to play a local player who is well known as an A ranked player without a spot. We played only 1 set but I beat him playing even. I just ran out and kept him in his seat the majority of the set. When I didn't have a clear shot I played safe or left him rough.

Sounds like when I see you guys next ill have to give you and gene the 8 ball playing 10 ball

I want to come visit your poolroom

One of them would be the Metro in Edmonton Alberta.
Even with the guys who play a little fun afternoon pool there, you would be lucky to get out with the shirt on your back.

Going to a scotch doubles tournament in WI Rapids tomorrow with a local player from Eau Claire.
Also have a match for $50 a set with Kelly Birmingham from WI Rapids area a strong player and should be a good match this Tuesday. Then headed to the Bus stop on Wednesday afternoon.
Arrive in Tulsa Thursday morning 8:45 AM via Greyhound looking for a place to stay for a few days for the Magoos tournament then headed to Jamaica Joes afterwards.

Rhea , Aimee@ Randolph's is really wanting to play again and for more money. Since you're picking up a ball every week I thought you might want to know that should be an easy score

I will play her again someday but since Gene & I are not traveling together any time in the near future I will be following the path of the regional tours. When they bring me through NC I will make my way to Randolph's no idea when the TigerSMART tour happens in 2014 but that is when I will be in the area.

No problem I will let her know you're ready to play. I also find out when the tour is coming to town and let you know. Play well tonight.
