The funny thing is I have been exactly where she is I just played better. I had no home to go to or anyone to take care of me and I thought the road was the answer. So my advice is based on the fact that I know this 50k a year job is way better then the other path I was on.
Be careful acting like you know what people have been through. Most people wouldn't of made it a week in my shoes at the time.
When I was 15 I got into it with my dad and ran away from home. I had $12. I went into an open garage and took a sleeping bag, snuck into a boat and spent the night there, hitch hiked 80 miles to Santa Barbara and was building a fire on a beach to cook some hot dogs. It was a tourist area and a man in his 20's came up and struck up a conversation with me. He wanted to know why I was cooking food on the beach. I told him what happened. We talked for a good 20 minutes and he finally talked me, in a very nice way, into going home. I don't think he intended on leaving me until I agreed to go home.
To this day I think of this young guy and wonder why he came up to me and why he cared if I went home. I still consider it some of the best advice I have ever had. He was a complete stranger but it was obvious he cared about doing the right thing. I am extremely grateful to this day that he did talk me into it. I would love to find him and let him know that, but I know it will never happen. Thanks to his advice, I returned home and all was well.
Rhea, you may not have this option, but you definitely have marketable skills. Make the right decision so that you may look back and thank yourself one day.

Oh does she have a 50k job now?
Sounds like she left a very lucrative job to be at the point where she is at now.
There is no reason that she can't be in contact with that very same company or another like it.
Pinky, ask Lou if he is going to play JB at the SBE. I bet he is planning on it but I doubt that game will ever go off.
There will be a ton of excuses as to why that proposed game didn't happen.
It will be an epic 500 pager. Guaranteed. And at the beginning and at the end, it will all be Lou's fault.
That, I will put 100 bucks on and will gladly pay up if I am wrong.
Make me wrong John and I will gladly pay pal you a 100 dollar bill. You can put it toward your loss against Lou.

hey John - Lou is here @ Mosconi sitting next to us @ front row/center!
where are you?
John, my bet was for a friendly bet to you.
Copy and paste it. I won't forget that I made it. If I lose the bet, I will gladly pay you off.
If you show and play or you are there to play and Lou doesn't, then I will pay up.
That is considering that Lou is actually there to play or is there but backs out for some reason.
My bet is that both of you are there and you find a way to back out of it and the game doesn't happen.
If Lou is there but backs out, then my bet is still good.
I'm not paying Lou's appearance fee. My bet is that both of you are there and you find an
excuse to not play.
Sorry that I am not a high roller like you and that my 100 is irrelevant.
No, if you are there, which you are going to be anyway, and Lou is there and you figure a way to back out the bet is off.
If you actually play Lou, you get a 100. I'm betting that you will find a way to back out, even if he is there.
Play him and I send you a 100.
Its not going to happen Johnny. Hes already had 2 of his chest thumping threads re him and Lou deleted. Its totally my fault for derailing this thread.
JB would love to turn this thread or any other into another, lets talk about me thread.
He can't stand for any other to get attention and not him.
The game won't happen. Either Lou won't be bothered to show and if he does, John will figure a way not to play.
Simple.
Lets talk about Rhea. She is more important than allowing John to pound his chest.
Who is holding the $6,000 post money? Sorry if it's in this thread somewhere, I missed it. Johnnyt
I see, now its bet 10K.
Do you think that I care one way or the other that you or Lou play. I don't.
Lets talk about Rhea.
