The Great Pool Experiment Pool Reality Show.

Perfect Aim visits Pool Reality

From Tor:

I only have a quick moment as I'm still working with Shawn, a participant in DeForest. I just wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to you for your introduction to Gene Albrecht. I have a great respect for him - a great player and a great teacher and system in Perfect Aim. I intend to pay it forward and believe strongly that he and I can help each other. I always have believed we can all learn something from everybody with whom we come in contact. I learned from Gene, as did Jesse, his wife and tonight his son.

Many people will continue learning from him. Turns out, because we're both from the Midwest, we also knew many of the same people in the pool world. Great fun to talk to him and a true pleasure to meet him. I have some ideas for him I'll be sharing and want to pay it forward to him for the good he does in the pool community.

I'm sure I can think of a good way to help more people be exposed to what he offers in his great system. It's been busy. I'm and some others are a little sad to be leaving Wisconsin, but excited to work with a family with four kids, ages 13 and under for three days before we leave. The two oldest children are in their first summer league together. Their mother got rid of their television and got a pool table instead - in her efforts to spend more quality time together as a family and it has worked, so we're looking forward to working with her family to inspire others to do the same across America.

After that, we're headed to Pennsylvania, first to work with a young man by the name of Joshua, a 'AA' player who lost his father two years ago. He and his brothers kept the tradition of an annual pool tournament alive in their region, now a memorial tournament. Joshua's a great player - just lacks in some confidence. I can't wait to help him find what he's missing because this young man's got what it takes and should have that opportunity to make his dreams come true.

End post

Gene, from me to you............thanks man.

See you in St. Louis one of these days.

Nice Educational Series

I am currently listening to one of the instructional videos from Tor Lowrey. These are very nicely done and distribute very good information to the beginner and intermediate player. Anything that helps develop youth pool is a big win for the game of pool. Something I do like are the ball graphics being used during explanations. Very Nice!

Pool families?

This is a challenge for you! Check out this inspiring mom and her four young pool playing children! She made a wise decision to eliminate television in their home and get a pool table instead! Why? What better opportunity could there be to enjoy quality time together as a family? What a fabulous learning and bonding experience! We, the whole Zero-X Team applaud her inspiring decision!

Dusty (Mom) and her four children were inspired to learn pool and have been receiving lessons from a special person in their lives who we will introduce to you very soon!

What say you pool families? How many families out there can turn off the television for a period of time - even eliminate television and learn to focus on the great bonding experience pool can bring to their lives? We want to hear from you!

Please e-mail us your family pool photos and your inspiring stories to zeroxbilliards@gmail.com. We'll post them here in a family album to inspire other pool families and send a FREE (4) DVD Pool Instructional Series by Tor Lowry to each family who participates!

We're thrilled to be working with Dusty, the special person in their life who inspired them and each of these four darling young and aspiring pool players for a 3 day training clinic beginning this Thursday, July 11th and can't wait to show you the video footage of their family - the amazing and fun experience it will be for them to learn additional skills together!

So, pool families...........where are you, join the fun

Ah that makes a lot more sense, cool! Yea we have all learned a lot! And the addition of Gene's info was the icing on the cake. Now they are going to travel together so everyone is going to learn even more!

I was happy that I could help facilitate that a bit. I think the combination of information and instruction is going to supercharge a lot of games!

Hey Jesse,

These are private messages sent to me via face book.

Happy to hear the family is playing well.

Don't know if you have seen this yet. Get the family together and watch it.......its great.

I can hardly wait to try this on my son, turning the QB around and moving the chalk. It should get his attention.

On set and behind the scenes final footage with '14 Days - The Great Pool Experiment' Wisconsin based participants, Jesse, Sr., Jesse, Jr., Travis, Douglas, Chad, Steph and Shawn.

We had mixed emotions to have left the beautiful state of Wisconsin, a friendly place where we did not just say goodbye to participants or people we worked with in pool. They all became genuine friends whose progress we'll follow always in pool and in life.

We're very grateful for the experience of meeting and working with them, even our team members who worked hard behind the scenes.

We'll definitely be back to follow up with them!

Have fun

Pool players - have you ever dreamed of being a pro?

POOL PLAYERS - HAVE YOU EVER DREAMED OF BEING A PRO?

This is '14 Days - The Great Pool Experiment' - Wisconsin based participant, Chad, a state Master level player since 2008, who's preparing to compete in 'The Carom Room Classic' in Beloit, Wisconsin in August, 2013.

Be sure to follow the progress of this remarkable player because you're going to want to see him soar as much as we do! We believe in him and you will too as you get to know him.

Have you ever "hit that hump?" You know, reached that place in your game when you've sort of felt "maxed out," like you just have maybe one or two things you need to work out so you can continue your quest and passion to be your best?

Our guess is that you have. We've posted links to two episodes of '14 Days - The Great Pool Experiment' of Chad in the comments below so you may see more about his progress and future plans. We believe in Chad's ability and would like to congratulate him on his most recent tournament win!

We'll be tracking Chad's progress so you can cheer him on in his pursuit to be the touring pro he is capable of being!

Tor and Gene have not made the western swing yet. So, if you live in the western half of the US get your application in.

Have fun :)

Pool Family on YouTube

On set and behind the scenes fun with '14 Days - The Great Pool Experiment' Wisconsin based family - Dusty, Jason, Mason, Kennedy, Makai and Kieryana. This is a whole family of pool players with the children ranging in ages 2 -13, who inspired us all!

We have no doubts that Jason will continue learning, improving and teaching this entire family. Together they will achieve great things and inspire families everywhere to consider pool as more than "just a game." To them, pool is a bonding experience. The pool table in their home has proven to be a great replacement for television.

They learn together, play together, compete together, love each other and continue growing closer as a family unit.

We're excited to return to Wisconsin to visit with them and learn more about their progress in pool and in life.

I'm going to make it to as many of these as I can.

Tor and his Partner are doing some great things here for the players all over the country. Their unselfish work and dedication is what makes this such a winner.

What's so neat about this for me is it enables me to get here and there around the country, you never know where I will be at, because my part in this when I get there is only 3 or 4 hours.

I want to thank Tor for letting me be even just a small part.

I've only been to 2 of them so far but I plan on making it to a whole lot more.

And you were right the john.

First class team there. And a story within a story for sure.

And someday maybe everyone will know the whole story and just not a chapter here and there.

Hey Gene,

Thanks for your support and helping out.

When Tor and company first introduced this undertaking I felt that the very least I could do to help was to assist with the progress by posting the Zero X Facebook entries. (with their permission of course)

I personally do not have the money to take on a year long project as Zero X is doing. The project is due to wrap up in June of 2014.

When you get to St. Louis I will be more than happy to give you $200 for the Perfect Aim lesson. I gotta get this out of the way so that I can move on to other aspects of the game. I want to be ready to move out into the field by Jan 2014.

Thanks for your help. :)

John,

I just posted a couple things. Pamala and I had a 30 hour drive from Oil City, PA to Utah where we'll be working with others to complete editing of '14 Days' of two participants from Pennsylvania. I'm very excited especially about the progress of the Oil City participant who completed a full 14 days. I anticipate he'll be winning some bigger tournaments in another 6 months or so and he definitely is committed to practicing which I'm positive will take him far. I just posted some pics. of him teaching his 5 year old daughter to play. It's great to see the bonding that occurs in families who treat pool as a family experience.

We'll be leaving on August 24th to Pipestone and Mankato, Minnesota for two weeks to train two full 14 day participants where we should be joined also by Gene Albrecht. Then it's on to Indiana where we have 4 participants to train before heading to Illinois/Missouri/Ohio.

Between now and August 24th, we're working around the clock to complete editing for, not just our Pennsylvania episode of '14 Days,' but also a new release which will contain the custom stroke/ball pocketing drills being used for each participant. This is the release which will come with the downloadable .pdf's of all drills and contain instruction on center ball positioning, half table and full table pattern play, kicking/banking drills and more. This is also the release which is highly anticipated by the people I've chosen who will pay it forward by training along with participants in their respective countries. It's a lot to accomplish in such a short time frame but I'm fortunate to have a good team so we'll get it done! And I'm very eager to get to Minnesota. Those two participants and some of their teammates have been waiting for a long time. They are both 'AA' division players who I know will absorb their training and continue practicing diligently after I leave - which again I am sure will help them win tournaments and advance toward their goals of playing professionally some day.

Tor

Have Fun :)
