In Las Vegas. I Played Jeramiah Johnson At Cue Topia.
I Bought A House Cue That I Liked And Practiced For About
Two Weeks On Very Tight Pockets. He Wanted The 6AND 7 WILD So I Said I Would Give Him The WILD 6,7 On My Break And The CALL SIX On His.THEY SAID OK WITH BIG SMILES. But We Have To Play On Tight Pockets. He Got A Backer And I Did To Cause At The Time I Was Tapped. I Was Playing Real Good And Wasnt Missing Anthing.
So I Knew The Spot Would Mean Nothing. We Played Someone Must Win Two Sets Ahead , For 4000k Each Set Was 6 Ahead. As I Predicted I Was Not Missing A Ball He Was Playing Good Also. And The Guy That Was Steaking Him At The Time Was A Guy Who Backed Many Pool Players
And Was Very Well Known. Many Would Know Him But I Wont Say His Name . A Few Hours Later I Won . After I Won I Anounced To All That I Will Never Gamble At Pool Again......... I WILL GIVE REASONS LATER

I enjoyed the post. Why do you bother reading or posting on his threads if you dont like them? I know I am not the only person on this board that wants to know why MT quit playing pool.

PS: If you are such a one pocket king then prove it, I think Mark called you out and I am sure he would make an exception in your case for a few thousand dollars a set. Of course I am sure you know you are no king and would get owned like a chump by a guy of Tadd's speed. King indeed....
 
Bring it on, Mark. I think most would be interested in why a championship level player at the very top of his game would suddenly give up gambling. As I've said before, Mark, yours is a story worth telling.

OnepocketKing, then don’t read Mark’s post if it is bothering you that much. I think most people are very interested in what Mark has to share.
 
OnePocket King, it appears that you are in the minority here. Many of us enjoy Mark's posts and like to hear his stories. You certainly do not contribute anything positive to this forum..
Your comment "Go back to church" what does that have to do with anything. I believe that we could do without you and keep Mark, it appears that the majority would agree with that. Don't read his posts if you don't want to hear his comments.

Just got back from the Cue Club

Played like absolute shit ( hadn't played in about 11 months ) but man it felt good to hit the ball around. I sold my sledgehammer, but I think i'm gonna hang on to the Josey cuz I got the fever again to start playing more. Like the place a lot, there were some good shooters in there. I'm gonna start going once or twice a week, and will definantly be a spectator at the big tourney next month.

That guy could play too. I still don't understand how you could give up the weight you did at times and outrun it. Just try to remember the people of the world that have never seen it will never understand the scope of your ability, skills or your perception of the events that brought you to this point. You know, the funny thing is after watching you play for those years, is I personally do not think that you had reached your full potential...hard as that is for anyone to believe.
