Well here is my latest cue that I am currently building for a customer. It is Ba cote, spliced into Birdseye maple, and man this is some really nicely figured wood. The cues butt also has a section of real nice Birdseye maple with a brown phenolic butt cap. The cues joint is 3/8-10, and it also has a brown phenolic joint collar.

This cue is about one week away from completion, the first coat of finish was applied tonight. Please let me know what you guy's think so far.

The first thing I thought of when I saw that cue was SOUTHWEST, without a wrap. I'm sure it's a lot less cash too. VERY NICE !!!!!

Props...Tom

Very nice work.
Love the color contrast in the wood and the grains.
Simply irresistible.

Thanks to all posters for the kind comments. To those who asked, if any will be for sale in the future, I am currently considering it. To date, I have only sold what I have made locally here in Tacoma, Washington. However, I am thinking that I may sell some on this forum so that I can get some additional feedback on the playability.

Thanks again for the kind words, and have a great day to all!!!!!!!

Dang, Craig! That cue is sweet!! Love that bacote, very nifty grain in that one.
So, is this a conversion cue or did you do the full splice yourself? Just curious, as you just do not come across bacote that nice in bar cues.....which is why I was curious....cause if you're doin' your own full splices, I may have to have a little chat with you...lol. :)

Very nice cue Craig. Keep posting whatever cues you are working on.

Also like your website so far...I see you are still adding things...Make sure to have an archive of cues made!

Man, I love this cue. It's so nice. SPs and PJs are my kinda thing, specially when the figure and natural color of the woods are awesome. Keep up the good work.
