Does Clatterbuck still play? The AzB tournament results show nothing for him since 2011.
Last time I talked to him he was working full time and raising his girls. Not much time for pool.

Nobody has mentioned the Shane/Alex match the first time they played at the derby when it was at the old venue. There wasn't a person in the place playing pool cause they were all leaning on the tables watching the match. That's when TAR was in full effect. It was about 10k each with about 100k in the middle. It was a race to 23 and if my memory serves me right, the final score was 23-21 Shane. He got Alex good that week but I heard that Alex followed Shane around for a bit and got some back...lol
I mentioned it (Post 46), but the details are all fuzzy. I also thought it was a race to 23, but I couldn't find the match on the TAR page that says 23. LOL.

Matthew clatterbuck playing Bailey
Not being all secret just not a name dropper.

I am very familiar with both of them. Would have loved to see that. Matt is determined and a hard worker, Bailey is all natural. A classic struggle,
So when, where and who won?!

Oh, and a great match that is on the youtube is clatterbuck vs. mika. Mika gets manhandled.
See post #56 above.

I believe it was 2001. Joss event at Country Club USA in Chelmsford Mass. Alex Pagulayan won the 5k added 9-Ball, 10k added 9-Ball, 1k added 8-Ball and 1k added One Pocket events. The kicker, he also won the 50/50 cash raffle and a good chunk of money playing backgammon. Things just went perfect for Alex that week and he played great to boot. I learned a few shots that week that I will never forget.
Surprised no one has mentioned Varner's comeback against Sigel. I'm not at home, so I can't look up the exact venue(US OPEN), but I think he was down 9-1/9-2 maybe, race to 11, Gets hooked, kicks the ball in, and then went on a tear, got to the hill, and missed an easy shot on the 9, then Sigel missed, and Nick wins. Some incredible outs by Nick.
