The Official Bonus Ball Friday Night Thread

how many tables do the have 12?.. they could run a hell of a tournament out of that facility ... nice arena area... (if they let Justin stream the main table).. let the money guys put 50K in the middle and have the guys out there play a round robin for it.. vote for which match in each flight gets on the stream and charge me to watch... Might go for that.. what a waste of resources (human, physical, financial, time, everything)...
 
Not sure if everyone heard the good news inside of the choppy audio, but the whole weekend is free, so you can watch more train wrecks all weekend for free, or you could watch another disaster by watching tornadoes on the evening news. I guess I found myself wondering what could be worse and all I could think of is the victims in Oklahoma. However, I couldn't help but notice both their stream and the F5 Tornado were devastating disasters, but just of a different kind. Collateral damage is the best way to describe what I watched but was unable to see or hear. Just an interesting parallel.

This is something that puzzles me. They only seem to need one table for what they are doing right now, so why have 12 and need so much space?
 
hmmm....

Last nights "no BB stream..." thread had 600+ posts at this point. Tonight less then 200. I was busy last night so was at DEFCON 1 energy for tonights stream. But after tonight I feel exhausted. Not sure I'll be riding the stream tomorrow night or not. I can see why the post level has dropped 2/3 in 24hrs.
 
Unbelievable!!! I have tried to find the final score of tonight's match that I have money on and can't get the answer on the bonus ball site, bonus ball Facebook site, Action room, main forum, and ustream. (I listened to the audio at the end of the match while they were shaking hands to no avail)

I feel like I'm Truman on the Truman show and winning this bet will ruin the whole show!

You're 100% right. There's no way in hell uStream is responsible for this. The fact that they'd try and blame LiveStream and then uStream is hilarious and sad. As a comparison the Sony PS4 event that was streamed on uStream went out to 1 million concurrent viewers. Even if BB hit their fictional 10k users it would've been a drop in the bucket for uStream.

I think the fact that BB had issues on two separate nights with two different streaming services makes it pretty obvious where the problem is.

and they want people to pay for this? going to be hard to convince people to pay to watch if they can't get a clean stream for free.
 
I did some bar b quing in a tornado storm tonight - what did I miss tonight?

I did hear the stream failed again.

I tried to get on my phone to see for myself but it wouldn't load. Oh and the website is not formatted correctly for an IPhone.

Beyond that, anything golden I missed?
 
The only thing Golden that you missed was when they announced that UStream pissed
all over the second night of BB.

Yeah, it was their fault, thats the ticket.

Other than that, not much. The players were shooting orange and purple balls into pockets.
 
I don't see any posts on the WPBL Facebook page or Nathan's Facebook page. Guess they are all out celebrating.

I watched a horrible stream on my iPhone for a while. Won again.
 
I watched from my iphone from about 830-915cst and the stream was good. Iron man 3 started at 930 , so I was out after that.

I guess having so many people tuning in and causing a bad stream is a good problem to have, however if that's the only way it's viewable, it;s a huge problem. Hopefully they will continue to offer the stream for free until they get the bugs worked out so I can decide if I want to subscribe or not.

I kinda feel sorry for them, I mean how much more shit can go wrong with getting this thing off the ground ? Brutal ! I wish them the best of luck !

On a side note:

Grey felt, grey floor , grey walls. Not digging it at all. At least use tourney blue cloth..

Not sure where you got this information but it wasn't too many viewers that caused the problems. Apparently tonight it was ustream's fault. :rolleyes:

I heard they were uploading the stream through someones girlfriends iPhone WiFi hotspot and she was getting alot of texts during the match.. so y'know it's not their fault.. I mean that's happened to all of us right???
