I must agree with you. American needs new blood to fill the void of those who have left the pool industry. Without them, American pool is dead. That is a very good point.
But is it fair to Justin Hall? I think he should definitely keep on, keeping on with his pool endeavors. I don't know how old he is, but if he's young, he should also consider a way to make money in a non-pool-related field. :wink:
The problem with pool is that even when you win big, you're so stuck from all the other events where you didn't win, place, or show. It's hard to accumulate a bankroll when you're solo like Justin. If he had a sponsor or backer, that would surely help.
There comes a time in a pool player's life when they must pick and choose what's more important: pool or family. It happens to all of them. I hope Justin makes the right decision and has the means to keep his head above water. He looks like a nice kid.![]()
