My Bucket List...

1. Win the US Open
2. Compete in the Mosconi Cup for Team USA
3. A World title

These things would make me quite a happy camper :)... Well i gotta go practice...

I did read your avatar PT and as far as I know, there is no Depends Canada.
I think there is a Depends Arkansas tho.
Maybe I have it mixed up with Independence MS.

Slim;

I sure didn't read her comments the way you did.

Just sounded to me like she would enjoy sweating an old-school type pool match with her horse and another 110%'er.

There really has been some, let's say, less than 100% action matches going on lately.

Keep your ears on the tracks for there may be something good coming up...

Yeah, that's how I read it too...I like JAM's posts.
I recall Jimmy Mataya and Keith in a hill/hill match years ago (Keith won)
..they were 'rappin and runnin'....not enough of that now unless the Lion
and Rodney are playing.
..but I feel Slim is a good guy with definite opinions....
maybe you should recruit him for your team...then you would have a
'slim' chance.

Run 200 balls

Beat a top one pocket in a pro tournament...even a short race to 3 like in the DCC would be good enough for me.

Just once have a pro look at me in awe and say "how did you do that?"

To play a race to 100 with Efren. I would get killed , but atleast I would have the pleasure of playing him one on one. lol

Okay, sorry i seemed to have misinterpreted this statement

i just want to see good pool instead of the mickey mouse match-ups that seem to be so popular today.

looks to me like a jab to me.

have to back handedly stab someone in the back with your comments?

You do realize that you can compliment your man without putting down some one else, dont you?

What a shame,

SLIM

What's a shame is your misinterpretation, SLIM. I'm going to take your kind advice provided in your sig line and leave it at that.

Here is our chance to share with each other, what pool related activity it is that we would like to do before we croak.

I'll go first:

I would love to play some cheap sets of banks with Mr. John Brumback. We could see what kind of spot would be fair and go from there. I don't think he'd need too many balls. :p

John is one of the genuine good guys in our sport and a true champion. It would be a great pleasure for me to get on a table with him. You couldn't help but to learn something, even if it were a short session.

That's what would do it for me.

What about you all?

Best,
Brian kc

Here's another one. I'd like to go to the U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship one more time before I die, and the Joss Turning Stone Casino event, too.

After that put down, he might want to change his nick name to "Slammed"

Your correct about the slammed comment.

after that put down, he might want to change his nick name to "slammed"

it is amazing to me that any time a question is posed about a negative comment by some people, the poster comes bace with an insulting one line comment then wants to move on to another topic.

I have no desire to hyjack this thread or argue with anyone.

Just think the negative jabs should not be made.

Kc,

i dont really have any bucket list wishes:
I am very happy with the equipment i own.
I go to the derby to watch some great pool.
I have no dilusions about winning any big tourneys.

Enjoy the day,

SLIM

How about the "Top Ten" list format
10 - Win the Louis Roberts award and get a comped room for life at the DCC
9 - Picture on the cover of Rolling Stone
8 - Build a cue collection like John Mars or Will Prout
7 - Take $1000 to the Phillipines and gamble with pro speed players for a year
6 - Open a 24 hour poolroom set up like the Bellagio
5 - When time travel is figured out, go back and watch Earls $1,000,000 run
4 - See what SVB's 10 ball break looks like on the moon
3 - Figure out how the guy does those shots on Kamui's website
2 - Watch Bill gates and Mark Zuckerburg play a 9 ball race to 100 for a billion on TAR
1 - Play one pocket scotch doubles with Efren against Earl and Jessica Alba :grin-devilish:

update

Mr. Brumback contacted me and has expressed his interest in seeing my bucket list request come true, where I get to play him some cheap sets of banks.

He has also indicated that he won't even be looking for a spot.

What a classy guy!

Hope our paths will cross so we can put this together.

Thanks, JB!

Don't think it would be a good idea to play SVB on the moon....
...he'd only be giving you one/sixth of the weight you get on earth.

..plus...on earth, he's been known to give up the world.....
...but would you really wanna see him give you the moon?:kma:

To play at a number of excellent halls around the country. Go to the US Open and DCC. To play in both of those tournaments and cash as well. I could probably think of a number of other things as well.
