The rematch: Yang vs. Orcullo $10,000 Showdown! (Free live stream)

When I left Dennis was ahead 34-32. That means Yang beat him 18-11 down the stretch. I guess the best player won again. Dennis is going to have to leave this guy alone. He has his number. Just like Alex with Shane.

I think Dennis was also up 40-35. If so, Yang beat him 15-5 down the stretch.

Yang now officially owns Dennis. if ever they played in Taiwan..........

If they play in Taiwan, ill take Dennis. I believe Yang is the better player but the 'nerves' thing would be reversed and Yang is not gonna beat Dennis EVERY time-no way-not in this game.

BTW-this was 10-Ball. The first match was 9 ball?

I thought yang outplayed dennis. Yang shows no emotions, a stoic, buisness as usual type of player.

Dennis got out of line in key situations at the end, basically giving away 3 or so games. Coulda been a different out come.

Thnx Gerry, it was nothing! How's your Rotation game coming along?

Actually not too bad. I practice full rack rotation at home. Along with 1 pocket, and I make myself run 50 in 14.1 every day. Sometimes I don't run 50, but I keep trying.

thanx again.....

For everyone who didn't get to watch the whole thing....here is my take...

Dennis was the better defensive player.......and Mr Yang was the better run out player.

To be honest this is one of the BEST matches.....from a tech side that I have ever seen....neither one really missed more then 5 balls, but the safe game was the determining factor.

After their two matches I don't think there is much doubt left about who the title of "best money player in the world" truly belongs to. In the tournaments in which they both played I believe Yang also has the better record by a convincing margin.

If the safe game was the determining factor (from your post) then Dennis would have won. IMO the determining factor was the remarkable runouts that Yang made. I only watched a little of it due to the horrible stream....but Yang made some nearly impossible runouts at crucial moments that broke Dennis down over the stretch...IMO

The One-on-one match starts at 6 pm Manila time, or 3 am Pacific / 6 am Eastern today.

The studio setup they had may give Pat Flemming a run for his money, but Pats stream quality gives them the blueberry crush! LOL

I'm glad to see some major sponsors getting involved. I hope they can maintain. I joined and will support all the sponsors as much as I'm able!

It was a great match even though we didn't see 4 or 5 packs. Both players still struggling on the break on the last day. The last few racks Dennis made a lot of crucial errors than Yang. And Yang played flawless near the end where it matters the most. The better player won that day.

I wonder if Yang or the Taiwanese organizers will also invite Dennis or any top player in the world to do a challenge match just like this in Taiwan.

I'd like to see Yang play more of the Phillipinos on their turf, as long as he keeps winning they could hype him as the phillipino assasin

maybe send some young guns after him, Gomez, De Luna, etc......maybe work up to an Efren match, hell if he loses you could bring in Fong Pang Chao for revenge......

could be some good money for all involved promoting that type of thing

Why? There's no point. Yang beat Dennis twice, at his home turf. Even if Yang loses, the outcome would be somewhat inconsequential. They would have to schedule a fourth match, then fifth match...etc. smashmouth says it best that Yang officially owns Dennis. Not necessarily that Yang is the better player (but it's difficult to argue against that statement based on the outcomes of the two challenge matches), but that Yang definitely has Dennis' number.

I think this is the next logical step. I'd like to see Yang play Alex or Alcano. And I also agree the motive would be for Yang to be dubbed as the Pinoy Punisher, or the Filipino Flogger...lol. Just like Pacquiao has been to the Mexican boxing champions.

I've seen Yang run out a LOT of tough ones and a lot of which he makes looks easy. I've also seen him play a much better saftey game than he did in this match. I dont think Yang had his A game this match nor Dennis. But I liked yang in this matchup since the 9 Ball one, when talk of a ten ball match was on ppl thought Dennis was a lock even the ones who liked yang in the 9 ball match. I want to see yang vs lee van really bad for some reason.
