Don't play a lot of of one pocket and I realize the bottom and side pockets mean nothing for scoring, but doesn't the elimination of these pockets change the strategy in these games and essentially make it a different game? Should the new game be called 3 cushion one pocket?

Yes, IMO it would eliminate a lot of shots, therefore changing the game. I still think it would be interesting to watch though as several banks and kicks are now opened up.
I would like to see Frost on this one screwing around. ;)

I love how diamond will make these unique tables. 10 fter etc.

If I recall, weren't there 2 pocket tables back in the 40's-60's? a few anyway...

The world's first aggressive One Pocket table, eliminating balls on the spot from the other four pockets.

Sometimes when I scratch in the side I wish
the table were like this

but i think it would change the game too much

also i heard of one before,Seems like I heard that if you ran a ball up the rail the wrong way that it would bank back into your hole

I also played on a round table with a hole in the center once

also were there not things you could block the pockets with,i sold a table to a friend that could be converted to billiards
easily,and back tom pool

with those hole plugs you could play on a table like this easily

Supposedly,

Both of these things are allowed to be fact.

Yes, it's a fake picture, first of all those rails are charcoal Dymondwood. ...and there is no Dymondwood today to build them. Second, not fake....there IS a set of one pocket rail sitting at the factory waiting for me to get back and finish them, as well as the billiard tables.

I am actjally down in richmond today for work and plan on sneaking into the fri nite tourney tonight and stealing some lunch money.

I will let you know if real or joke.
