So KT was supposed to have written this? 3rd grade grammar not withstanding, what a pitiful response.rackmsuckr said:I just emailed my buddy, Kevin Trudeau.... Kevin, what can you tell me about the status of checks? Chicago? Is there any hope? Thank you!
And he got back to me instantly with this reply: (Copied and pasted)
Barry Diller...warren buffet...donald trump...bill gates..and the list goes on..do not read internet forums. I think it is a good idea! This is HUGE deal being made. A very positive announement will be made this week and money is coming!! No dramas!!Thanks for all your support! This is the beginning of the beginning and unexpected things always happen as new businesses are being built! The ratings on VS are HUGE!! ALL very positive!! Chicago is a 100% GO!
Many people are going to say he is just delaying us longer, but I am hopeful again and really believe he is coming through no matter how badly this has been handled.![]()

Da Poet said:First I want to say that anytime someone who owes you money returns your call, Email, whatever, it's a hopeful sign.
I don't blame folks for being angry and posting their frustrations with the non payment issue, but since there are people waiting for checks who view and use this forum, I think name calling and reckless negative speculation is disrepectful to those IPT players and serves no constructive purpose.
I think the players who post here deserve all the respect and support we can give them.
Rackmsuckr, did you forward my earlier post to the big guy? Yeah, that interest idea should have gotten his attention! No wonder he recommended not paying attention to forums! lol
I still think the prompt response from Mr.Trudeau is positive though. I am more hopeful after hearing it.
Good luck!

VonRhett said:OK - Buffett, Trump, Gates, et al are some of the most brilliant and successful businessmen in the WORLD. For KT to compare himself to them is a friggin joke - an insult to us all, really.
But frankly, for you posters to perpetuate the idea that KT is in any way, form or fashion anything like Warren Buffett, Gates or Trump is preposterous at best. You should be insulted that he dared to compare himself to Global Industry Leaders.
Don't get me wrong - I truly hope that the Players actually get paid. The sport needs for that to happen and the Players sure as hell deserve it.
But some of you sound like a teenager with this "Oh Lookie! The powerful KT responded to lil' ol' me!! Isn't that awesome! It must all be OK now!"
Da Poet said:Geeze folks, why did Rackmsuckr just have to defend her judgement and integrity here over whether she received a real Email or not?
Maybe the reason is that folks who are hopelessly cynical about the situation are just hopelessly cynical about everything and don't know when to stop.
Da Poet, JAM and Rackem,
I agree that posting here now on AZ is like navigating through a mine field and perhaps not worth giving your thoughts. There is though a consistency of the demeanor of the posters. The mean remain mean, cynical remain cynical, sarcastic remain sarcastic, chauvinist remain chauvinist, and lastly the optimist remain optimist (for a while) etc..
Posters have given up posting because of the flak - a loss to the Forum. Posters have been kicked off of the Forum for being foul - a plus for the Forum. The Forum continues and has a life of it's own and one can play the game or not. At times it can be exhausting trying to get your point across but there will be those that have the wisdom to to see the message but remain silent and not enter the fray and don't have to defend their support - a loss to the Forum.

One of the things I like about this forum and the pool playing world is what a small world it really is. Each of us here can have an impact. We have have the choice to be constructive and contribute or to be selfish and to take.
Earlier today, I discovered a post I wrote was forwarded to Kevin Trudeau himself. The details of the post are not important right now, but what is a huge compliment to me is that someone in the know believed that post was a valuable enough contribution to the payment issue that they decided to forward it on to the frickin' president of the IPT. How cool is that.
I know I come across as one of the optimists, but I'd like to think of myself as trying to be helpful and constructive to the other folks here more than anything else. It's a small world and our posts can make a difference!![]()

Optimism doesn't cost anything.
I think pessimism comes from the fear of being disappointed, and that's because letting the mind to live in illusions and forgetting the reality.
Of course it is a big dissapointment if the IPT fails, but those who have lived in illusions and are now angry that those might never come true, should take the responsibility of their own values and the mistake of starting to build(or letting someone else to build) ivory towers to their minds.
If the IPT fails, that is a very bad thing, not only for the players waiting checks, but for the possibility that our beloved sport would really be one of the reckognizable sports in the media and public.
I'm an IPT believer, but my feet are on the ground and even the IPT would crash, I wouldn't.
People are bashing here IPT because of the mistakes, but they don't see the bigger picture. If these writings are important in anyway considering the future of IPT (and at the same time the whole pool culture in a higher level), we really should try to be constructive.
That doesn't mean we should take sh!t from anybody, but like myself, I still owe much more to Kevin that he owns to me.
I build my life for no-ones promises, so I'm not so dependent on others.
I (try to) build my life on inner peace and strength, so external things doesn't (wouldn't) affect me so much.

Did anyone actually use the word "liar"?
When I first read it I laughed and said sure he did. My first thought was someone in his office was just pulling her leg.
Then to add doubt Linda said she didn't post the entire e-mail.
Who here really knows Linda. What kind of person is she. How trustworthy. I met her in Orlando but I really know absolutely nothing about her.
Do I believe that KT really replied to her e-mail? Not a chance in hell.
But then early on I did get replies from Deno.
Did she make it up? Most likely not. But I don't put it past her because I just do not know her.
Do I think the IPT is dead. Yep, yep, yep.

Hell, can't we all just quit and leave this forum, obviously we can't trust eachother, or we won't trust eachother, so what's the point?

In fact, I was the one who said to say I talked to my good buddy Kevin because I thought that would get a laugh. This email came directly from KT's private email. It did not come from the IPT staff.
She told me she was going to get bashed, and I said for what, just go ahead and send the email out, hoping that people might be interested in hearing about a major announcement this week and that Chicago was a go. I for one took this as a good sign..maybe some closure about being paid. Please no more slander towards her, she is the most honest person I've ever met.
