Many people are going to say he is just delaying us longer, but I am hopeful again and really believe he is coming through no matter how badly this has been handled.

OK - Buffett, Trump, Gates, et al are some of the most brilliant and successful businessmen in the WORLD. For KT to compare himself to them is a friggin joke - an insult to us all, really.
But frankly, for you posters to perpetuate the idea that KT is in any way, form or fashion anything like Warren Buffett, Gates or Trump is preposterous at best. You should be insulted that he dared to compare himself to Global Industry Leaders.
Don't get me wrong - I truly hope that the Players actually get paid. The sport needs for that to happen and the Players sure as hell deserve it.
But some of you sound like a teenager with this "Oh Lookie! The powerful KT responded to lil' ol' me!! Isn't that awesome! It must all be OK now!"

Optimism doesn't cost anything.
I think pessimism comes from the fear of being disappointed, and that's because letting the mind to live in illusions and forgetting the reality.
Of course it is a big dissapointment if the IPT fails, but those who have lived in illusions and are now angry that those might never come true, should take the responsibility of their own values and the mistake of starting to build(or letting someone else to build) ivory towers to their minds.
If the IPT fails, that is a very bad thing, not only for the players waiting checks, but for the possibility that our beloved sport would really be one of the reckognizable sports in the media and public.
I'm an IPT believer, but my feet are on the ground and even the IPT would crash, I wouldn't.
People are bashing here IPT because of the mistakes, but they don't see the bigger picture. If these writings are important in anyway considering the future of IPT (and at the same time the whole pool culture in a higher level), we really should try to be constructive.
That doesn't mean we should take sh!t from anybody, but like myself, I still owe much more to Kevin that he owns to me.
I build my life for no-ones promises, so I'm not so dependent on others.
I (try to) build my life on inner peace and strength, so external things doesn't (wouldn't) affect me so much.

When I first read it I laughed and said sure he did. My first thought was someone in his office was just pulling her leg.
Then to add doubt Linda said she didn't post the entire e-mail.
Who here really knows Linda. What kind of person is she. How trustworthy. I met her in Orlando but I really know absolutely nothing about her.
Do I believe that KT really replied to her e-mail? Not a chance in hell.
But then early on I did get replies from Deno.
Did she make it up? Most likely not. But I don't put it past her because I just do not know her.

Seriously people y'all need to lighten up. As a freelancer I wait to get paid all the time...it is part of the process. I have talked to my friend that Q'ed for the first two events and he did not stay in Vegas after he lost. He got his check, though it did take a while and he has no doubt he will be paid for Reno, which is substantially more than 5000.00.
I really think your not seeing the big picture here, there is so much outside involvement, I just do not see it going belly up at all. With sponsors like Vonage, the TV success and the media interest...I really do not think this is just some big scam.
Have some faith people, or better yet, a beer!

Everything has been an illusion from the start, there is nothing that you could point to and say, "There that proves they are telling the truth".
They paid out the flash money in the beginning, something a pool player can identify with, and now it's gone or they have decided to cut loses and not spend any more on a failed idea. They have had huge business reversals in their book business since the start of this thing and are probably going to focus their attention on more important things, not the IPT, that I am sure they recognize was a silly idea to start with.
Perception is everything when it comes to something like this, they know that. They would have paid on day one, like they did in the past, if they actually planed on continuing, but it doesn't matter anymore if the plan is to fold the tent. No one spends a thousand in repairs for a car that is being repossessed, it makes no sense. If they are really in the process of closing this thing up, any payments would be out of the goodness of their hearts. I don't see them paying, at least not in full, maybe some token amounts.

Thanks for spelling it out for some of the boo-birds on this forum, Mr. Z.....I welcome anything even resembliing good news regarding the IPT, and I welcomed the post by your wife....unfortunately, her premonition about bashing came true, as there are so many negative people in life that feel they need to be heard.......
