And if that weren't enough I was told first hand about Oscar attempting either a masse or jump shot that required his behind to rest on the table corner and when he put it there, the balls started to roll. :yikes:

I have enough problems with my game, I don't want bad equipment robbing me, too.

That's it, I'm cancelling my order for my new Kanghom table.

I watches several racks and the table rolled off on almost every shot. It rolls off in the direction of the camera. That table should have been shut down till it was corrected. On one shot the cue ball is rolling slightly cross table in the direction of the camera. If you projected out the the length of the cuebal roll beyond where it stopped all the way to the rail, the roll off would have been like 2 feet.

Yeah, that push-out was cold...rolled off a full diamond.

But sometimes the culprit is the billiard mechanic.

I once had my bridge hand slip two inches on a shot......
....it was the cloth that gave way.

Worst roll ever LOL .. It was a three quarter table length shot that rolled off one diamond ... How can this happen?

I guess the table set up is considered done as soon as they drag it into place with a fork lift. :D

aren't Oscar & his dad table mechanics? or have i got the wrong father/son team?

Yep, they are California billiard mechanics.....

....China is out of their jurisdiction....
...not all the rolls are egg related.

If you ever want to link to a specific part of a youtube video just pause the player. Then right click the player and select the "Get Video at current time URL." Then you an share the video without having to mention a specific time.

Man, that's brutal, even for a Kanghom table... but then again, they sell them brand new for $199 installed ;)

I never knew that I just tried it and it works, thanks.

Maybe that's the standard in China so they're doing a tourney based on the standard.

I was in Shanghai and they had an area where the Chinese billiard tables were hauled in and out every day. I can't imagine they'd be level!

Freddie <~~~ cold egg roll

They may want to change to this:

4. Slates
The thickness must be at least 1 inch [2.54 cm], and the playing surface must be capable, either by its own strength or a combination of its strength and that of the table base frame, of maintaining an overall flatness within + .020 inches [.508 mm] lengthwise and + .010 inches [.254 mm] across the width. Further this surface should have an additional deflection not to exceed .030 inches [.762 mm] when loaded with a concentrated static force of 200 pounds [90.7 kg] at its center. All slate joints must be in the same plane within .005 inch [.127 mm] after leveling and shimming. Tournament tables must have a set of slates consisting of three pieces of equal size with wooden frame of at least ¾ inch [1.905 cm] thick lumber attached underneath the slate. The slate sections must be
secured to the base frame with countersunk screws or bolts.

Isn't this one of the tournaments where players don't get to warm up on the table they're going to play on? I mean Oscar never saw that coming. Johnnyt
