Thought I'd join the gang!!

Stop trying to bait her into forum arguments :D
What better expert on the subject than Kelly Fisher? :) But you're right, it's probably best she does't participate in our useless squabbles. Just a very terse "transitioning from pool to snooker is harder than vice versa" post would be sufficient. ;) Just kidding.

BTW, how's everything going after the move?
PM sent.

I've been on here just about every day for years and can't remember any "chopping up" of Kelly. Johnnyt

Kelly...Welcome to AzB! I've enjoyed watching your game improve more and more, ever since I saw you play down in Charlotte, when I went to visit Scott Taylor, just after you came down there. That's been a few years, and you're now a threat in any tournament you play in! Nice to have you here!

She was a threat since day one. I believe in her first tournament in the WPBA, the very first match even, she had Allison 8-0 and had missed one or LESS balls. Kelly I think if you had just won that next game, the whole WPBA would be very different today.

Kelly I'd like to extend my welcome to you as well. It's always fun to see you playing on TV because of your aggressive no fear style of shooting. Looks like you will fit right in here on the boards.

What was it like seeing yourself on TV for the first time? Does that ever get old?

Welcome to the site Kelly. It was great seeing you and the other women play a few months ago at the Midwest Classic in Oklahoma City. I never officially introduced myself, but we spoke briefly in the lobby. I was asking you if you played any other games other than 9-ball. I also saw you and Karen in some pancake house (I think it was Denny's) the day of the finals. I came over and wished Karen good luck in her match. Anywho, best of luck in 2008....love your accent :)

A 4-peat in SD?

Welcome to AZ, Kelly. I'll be around to see you win in San Diego again ..... for the 4th time!!!

Kelly, welcome to AZB. I look forward to your posts and insights. I also enjoy watching you play. You have developed a real charisma that comes across on the TV...a definite passion for the game. I like that.
Joe

Welcome to our world, Kelly. We hope you'll find it as pleasant as you've tended to find San Diego.

Anyway, any man foolish enough to get involved in a whining match with a woman is crazy.:D :D :D :D

WOW, now I really like her!!!!!! :p

From one NEW member to another, Welcome aboard!!!!!

Don't mind me, I'm just scrambling to get all your matches that have been recorded downloaded to my hard drive.

All the best in '08!

Hello

Welcome aboard. Hope to hear from you in the main forum and not the just the Pros section. I am sure you can contribute a lot of great views and instruction to all. Happy New Year and a great 2008.

Kelly is one of the game's true greats. As a player she is phenomenal but as a person she is even better. Down to earth, real, true, mostly humble, Kelly is someone who I feel priveleged to know. She will always tell you how it is and has an excellent read on where she is and what she needs to do to get where she wants to be.

Welcome to AZ Kelly, hope you find the time to hang out a bit.

Also, I am going to plug Kelly a little bit for exhibitions - any room owners or corporate types out there you will have a GREAT exhibition if you book the team of Kelly Fisher and Valerie Finne for your event. They are funny, gracious, and highly entertaining. Not to mention quite humbling for a lot of players when Kelly and Val run rack after rack with ease.

i've been reading this for a while now too and just registered. never really wanted to register so i couldn't have the option to pm or post someone in the for sale threads. trying not to spend any more money on cues than i have already....lol

Welcome it's alway's nice when someone reaches back to the regular folks. Look forward to reading your posts, in the future.

Black Cat

Hi Kelly, glad to have you aboard.

Are you playing in the DCC Galla? I was fortunate to meet you at the Oklahoma RiverWind Casino Tournament.

Good Luck in your play & say hello once in awhile
