Just received these from Eric Crisp today. All of these cues are stunners but my favorite is the Ebony and Afzelia Burl cue. It has some pretty unique things going for it which include razor thin ebony recuts, boxes in the butt, stainless ring work, and the joint is called Mokume which is made from brass, copper, and nickel. It was incredibly hard to work with and Im not sure he will be using it again.

I guess the other two aren't too bad :)

I am going to put the group photos up and then reply with the singular photos of the cues.

1) Hickory Burl and Mun ebony with two recuts and one also razor thin

2) Bubinga and Birds Eye Maple with ebony recut - This one is available for purchase.

3) Ebony and Afzelia burl with two recuts and one razor thin. Also features boxes in the butt.

These are all really nice, but that ebony is a stunner! A mokume-gane joint is very unique, I see that used in custom knifemaking occasionally but rarely run into it elsewhere.

 Thank you for the visit, Alex. I enjoyed having you in the shop. Next time we'll maybe not spend so much time in the shop, and instead go shoot some dinner

Ill take some Country Kitchen as well! Thanks for having me, it was a blast even though we only got like 12 hours of sleep over 3 days haha.

Cool cues. Like the Afzelia one.

Still hoping for my own one day.

The rings are the best part of that bottom one.

It took a little arm twisting to get him to do metal rings. However, they were easy compared to the joint. Super hard and tough to cut.

Some of the best of the best here. Absolutely brilliant wood combinations and execution.

Thanks for the kind words yall

That stuff was a nightmare to cut, but worth the effort. What a neat material.

All are very nice but the ebony is the Nutz.
Can't wait to get my 50th Birthday Cue soon from Eric:thumbup:

that bubinga is one top specimen wow
and the ever elusive and sought after hickory burl
2 of my favs that are on my bucket list

 Thanks. It's the effort. I rarely buy wood that I haven't personally picked out, or cut myself.

You have a great eye for wood and a great talent to go with it. I sent you an email a couple days ago.

Okay, Alex It's me the Interesed/Obsessed Customer you Emailed, I've kinda figured out how to work this Tapatalk App.

But make no mistake, I fully intend to follow through on my plans, if it's still possible when I'm ready.
