Tim Scruggs Comeback

Thanks again for all the light that we are getting into the cue business and
the dynamics between cue maker and buyer

What a great looking case that John has,I know he made 2 nice ones for Tim and Mike sometime ago

Perhaps John could make something special for each of what will be a limited number of cues each year. That is if Tim is crazy enough about pool to come back

Dean

Well, I don't know about that. I have plenty of work stacked up. BUT a short time ago I did make some new cue bags for Tim and Mike and I'd like to see Tim's get used up as well as see a new order for more.

And I hope Tim thinks about the idea for an apprentice. That's a lot of knowledge locked up in his head which deserves to be passed on.

thanks to all of you great Tim Scruggs fans
Early this year Tim's best friend Mike Cochran passed away, next his wife passed away and Tim was unable to continue in the business. Now that he has had some time to get his bearings,he misses the joy of making these cues that we all love so much.

From the response I have received so far I think Tim will be strengthen in his desire, but who knows.

One thing for sure Tim will have over a years worth of orders from what I have seen today.Perhaps Tim will have something special to be thankful for today.

I encourage you to keep up with your request and assure you that if Tim comes back that each of you will recreive a place in line on his list ,backed by his integrity

so please help me to help Tim make the decision by getting on board with me

Again you will be dealing directly with Tim and receive your piece of pool history from one of the true legends in our sport today

I'd love to be on this list too. Let me know what I have to do if this becomes a reality

Thanks,
Kevin

I would be on the list. I've always wanted a Scruggs Box cue that I had a hand in designing. I have 3 Scruggs now (including a rare one), but... I can never have enough!

So, count me in. I've already set the money aside!

THe man who bought all of the cues Tim had,has already been contacted and is eager
to get more should Tim return to the business.
This should satisfy classic cues, several days ago Shadowmoss posted the pictures of quite a few of the last cues that Tim had here on AZ.

No one is being asked to buy the last cue,but we are all hopeful to have one of the best cues finished at the peak of his cuemaking career.

Scruggs ! ! !

I think this is the "OFFICAL" list right here ! ! ! Can't ask for anything more than starting with all us die-hard pool, AZ people. Dan

Hope Dean will take this Thread for his List and will safe who is coming First. I hope to stay in the FIRST Batch:wink:

Whether Tim decides to come back or not,one thing is for sure
I know he will be overwhelmed by the support you guys have shown to him and
his life work

I hope to talk to him today but I will don;t expect him to be able to commit to a comeback
until he has time to think it over.He does still have the machinery and some supplies

I encourage the rest of you to continue placing your orders either here or PM to me

Dean, you know I want a Amboyna Cue:wink: from TIM

The things that made Tim stop taking orders before are: changes after cue is started, calls asking how you doing with mine?, Is my cue almost finished?, pressure!!! No cuemaker needs that sort of thing. When i ordered by cue Mike had to call me because i left him to his work and never once bugged him about my cue. Hopefully everyone that orders a cue from Tim can know exactly what they want and be patient and await the call that it is complete. Just saying lets support Tim not badger him.
