Jay,
Maybe I could fly out there and you could take me to some easy 5/10 or 10/20 NL action and then introduce me to Tina. :D

I could do both, but it's gonna cost you. :)
Tina happens to be an excellent poker player also.

David, my memory is horrible but I could have sworn I saw it more recently than that. Her pictures were very nice. The properties show I saved it in January 2007. This is the one I was playing with:

I'm sorry, but I don't think the photographer did justice to Tina with this photo. She looks much better in person!

I vote for Marissa to take her next picture. :)
Just teasing! Just teasing! :D

No, not the same set of pictures. I am sure of the dates because I met with Tina at the Regional Tour Championships in Vero Beach, Florida in 2006. That is when she showed me the pictures that were evntually part of her promotional packet, which I still have saved in a .pdf somewhere. I know that it was not 2007.

In January of 2007 I was in El Paso, Texas. By that point in time I believe that Tina had already made the decision not to play in 2007. The pictures in her promotional packet are from this set of photos - all gorgeous.

Edited - Marissa, the photo you have is from the same set of pictures - they were taken in late 2005/early 2006 time frame. They were put in promotional packet in 2006

Beautiful, and she can play pool too! Im in love. I shouldve stayed in San Diego when i got out of the military

David, I must have saved the original in 2006 and not edited it in January of 2007. That's the last time it was saved.

God bless to you and Timberly, and best of luck on your pool game

I am curious to know why you would start a thread about Tina's game as a thread, since you claime to have PM'ed with her just yesterday. I have a hard time believing that it was a genuine concern after reading from one of your many threads a "catty" comment YOU'd made on Tina-quoted above.

Me too, and why bring Timberly's name up? She isn't even a member here anymore.

Wow, Ok....

Thanks Blackjack first and foremost. Those pictures were taken all at the same time just different locations as your edit hinted at. They were taken by Susie Zumini, a good friend of mine here in San Diego.

BlackJack was instrumental in helping me put together a player submission pack by giving me certain aspects of what it should contain. The end product truly looked good and was top notch content wise because of him. People at Inside Pool were so impressed with it, one of the writers was talking about doing a story on it. He wanted to give others vying for sponsorship a professional portfolio in hand to give them every chance of getting what they needed. Then I dropped off the face of the pool world in 2006 after playing 3/4 of the year on the pro tour.

People who had been calling me two years previous asking to sponsor me, somehow did not return my calls after the season had started. This all came to a breaking point at the last event I played of that year, the Florida event. I did my last interview for APA magazine, and told the writer at that time it was it for me. So much stress, so little money in the end made me really not miss the game when I put my cue down this time.

I have quit like everyone surely has at one time or another, so frustrated or what have you. Somewhere down the line you get a need internal to yourself that you just need to hit balls, and you get back in it.

I have felt no need this time around. And it is nice. I am going back to school, I give lessons to my local APA chapter and am learning things that I ignored for many years due to a singular focus to pool.

I have been thinking lately about going around and playing some Regional Tour events, but if I do, will be taking a girl or two with me. It would be more for a social purpose than any other anymore.

Regards to all the kind posters here. Thanks again.
