tips

there isnt one.....lol......just get you some duds from pooldawg.....

I have been using the tiger emeralds and I would say they play very close to the original moori med-hards.I have installed about 40 in the last year for customers and have not had any bad feedback.I have them on my personal cues and have stopped using moori, which I used for the past 20 years. If you leave the tip full they hit a little soft(like a sniper) but if you cut it down about a 1/3-1/2 they hit harder(triangle). They are also one of the better priced tips on the market.

Im going to have to agree on the emeralds. Its what I am now using as a playing tip, and its what Ive put on for the guys I play with and they're loving em.

Edit: I dropped from a Kamui Black S for this tip and love it.

I generally like a softer tip. For the last month I have been playing with a Kamui soft tip & absolutly love it. I think it is the best tip that I have ever played with. It has a great feel & grips the ball, without any mushrooming. I highly recommend it...JER

The kamui soft brown is the best I've used. Sure has helped me with less miss-cues. Great tip helps my so, so, stroke.

Kamui, posssibly the best tip ever made. I put a lot of medium/soft on for customers but prefer the medium for my cue.

The Sniper would be one of my first choices in medium soft layered tips. Kamui soft and Moori soft would follow close behind. What I like about the Sniper is that it plays more like it did when you first put it on a month or two later. The other two tips hit changes a little more as they break in. Kamui soft plays lights out when first put on. If it could maintain that exact hit it would probably be my favorite. But more of those who try the Moori soft seem to be the ones who stick with it. I think more people who like that little extra grip on the cue ball stick with Moori soft or more technically called "Slow" than any other layered tip I sell. But for some reason the Moori medium is still the number one selling layered tip.
The top non layered medium tip is still the Triangle, provided they are double pressed before installing.
The synthetic Ninja tip is catching on in our local area. It plays a little too hard for my taste. But if you use a tip pick on it regularly it will do anything you want it to. If not I miscue too much. My son on the other hand is placing in pro events using one and almost never miscues. It has really powerful draw, side spin and follow. Those who like LePro tips like it. But I am more of a Triangle man so it is a little hard for me.

I agree the Kamui is a great tip.

On the other hand, I must've gotten a bad Emerald tip. Had one installed and it's really hard, like break tip hard.

I have to say all of you guys gave a me a lot to work with .
And i have tried all of them but the Kumui soft , I was also told the super soft are very good .I have too try the kumui soft or super soft...

Try the Tiger Everest. It's on all of the Predator shafts that you see, and I love them. Provides tons of grip on whitey for super spin and draw. In my experience it's slightly softer than the Sniper.

Kamui Black. I think that is even better than the brown. the black is more moister reistant and grips the ball like crazy.JE

What is a good med/soft tip. Layered tip ????

I personally like Soft Moori tips, after a few clean up's during break in they are good to go. Once broken in they play not quit like a medium and not as soft as a new soft.
