This is for Dennis Walsh.

Ivory over Brass joint. This combo hits great.

Ivory inlays.
The inlays are cut with my CNC then finished with a razor blade. No round corners or glue lines. It's very time consuming but the finished look is well worth it.

....................

The black Phenolic is threaded into the core for strength and not a collar. I've tried almost every finish idea there is and the UV clear is by far the best finish material I've used. The only negative part is paying for the $280 quart of clear.

BAD,BAD,BAD conversions-

that is a great statement Dennis- 3 now!! wow. Remember folks Scott had a cue in the AZ buildoff- and his cue there was a thing of beauty!!!! mark

Gracio cue number 8

I think this is #7.

Let me think.

My first Gracio was a beautiful John Davis blank dice cue with loads of ivory. (I must now confess to Scott that I sold this one. A guy at the Billiard Club kept asking me what would I take. I figured I could use the money to get more which is what I did. I still see this cue a lot)

I then talked with Scott and he made me two more Davis blank cues with ivory joints. One had a gambler theme with Aces, Kings, Queens, etc, and the other had a chess theme.

Then he made me a nice butterfly conversion.

I now have the three Hoppe Conversions.

Also I have a butterfly jump cue and Scott has made me shafts for my Southwests and maybe for a Kersenbrock.

I guess you could say I like his work.

Really nice work, Scott.

Keep it up!

Wish I had more time to build, but it is so 'back burnered' these days it's not even on the stove...:(
