Me, too.
Of all the cues I've sold over the past 5 years...that BB cue is one of 3 or 4 that I regret having to sell...with every ounce of my being. Good God, was that an exceptional cue.
Oddly enough, I didn't care for the way it played...but from a pure visual presentation point of view, it's tough to beat...and my journey to get it was pretty amazing. Even had an article written up about it in the now-extinct Black Boar Buzz.

Did you not at one time have a John Davis Banks, John built up for you? That was one I liked!
I did, sir. Mr. Davis built that cue for me about 4 months after TATE brought his reintroduction to cues to light.
I don't have the pics of that cue, anymore...sadly. I deleted them from photobucket...and the PC I had them saved on crapped the bed and broke down on me...never to recover.
That Davis cue WAS cool. Very stellar colors in that blank he used.

Yep...that sure as hell looks like my old cue.
Unlike most turned out at that time...Mr Davis made this cue from tip to bumper. He did all the work himself...as opposed to having another cuemaker finish up a blank.
It was (and still looks to be) and exceptional piece of work. Thank you so much for the pics. I'll save them in the folder I keep with all the others, so I can glance at 'em from time to time.
