I think that TK is easily the most likable player in the game. I believe he would be our country's best representative in international events.
They would play there hearts out for their country and not be happy with just getting a $7500 pay day and $15,000 if they got some rolls. Johnnyt
I mentioned this in another thread...did anyone else catch the suggestion SVB made in his pre-match interview on TAR? He basically suggested that the Mosconi Cup Coach be selected from outside the pool world, basically an NFL or NBA coach, etc.

I think he's DEFINITELY on to something here...pro pool players don't need another pro's advice on their game as much as they need someone who knows how to handle complex egos/personalities, build a team and in short LEAD. There are tons of established experts in that field with well-known names, and they aren't pool players.
Phil Jackson... If there is any coach that can keep ego's in check.... It's Phil Jackson (Joe Torre 2nd)

Yep, one of my personal top picks. Also like Mike Ditka, Coach K (Duke) and (heaven help me) Bobby Knight...and you thought Earl was trouble!
Coach K and Bobby Knight both coached at West Point back in the day, so I'm a little biased here...
Tommy would be a nice choice. There are many others who could do the job. I know my short list would NOT include CW, ES, RM, MS, NV or AH.

What's wrong with all those guys except for CW for obvious reasons, and ES for obvious reasons? Since we're talking in code, I'd love to see "MS" be captain

Is that the guy that use to do the diet programs on tv all the time?Richard Simmons comes to my mind. He is good with motivational speeches and can pull the troops together to achieve the goals and objectives. He can electrify the fans![]()
